swimming pools/alcohol/service/activities
Pros: swimming pools/alcohol/service/activities
Cons: a/c not very good in cabin
Review: excellent cruise with so much to do on this ship. the food was excellent and the overall service on the ship was top notch. only went to the MDR twice for dinner and wasn’t too impressed so we ate at other dining options on the ship which were all excellent. Aqua 80 show is a must see! 4 stars for dining only because we didn’t care for the MDR but everywhere else was great food. 3 stars for cabin because the a/c was not cold and we were hot in our cabin every night and didn’t sleep well but the balcony rooms are clean and comfortable otherwise.
The staff was always helpful and kind! They were very professional at all times!

Review: Ship was fantastic but weather wasn't all that great! Dining staff John Lord and his assistant Kudmal were beyond the best! Just be sure to tell your room steward everything that you want/need so there is no misunderstanding .,,had to call for clean towels after returning from dinner...they only do towel service 1x daily. Be sure token an eye on lounge chairs that are left unoccupied for more than half an hour...don't think twice about removing towels and bringing them to the Towel Service center!
Beautiful ship, lots to do, good food
Pros: Beautiful ship, lots to do, good food
Cons: over 2000 kids! Cats the show needs to change.
Review: Cruise was Great except a few issues. To many kids running all over and nobody watching them! Could not use the pools which were closed because of kids pooping and vomiting in them! The clubs( music hall & others were like gym bored classes with kids taking up the dance floor with the parents just letting them do whatever they wanted and noone from royal saying a word! Really took away from the cruise! Will not cruise from the New York area again when kid are out from school!
Everything!
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Not very technical...took time to learn app
Review: There was so much to do that the days just aren't long enough! Will have to travel again just to participate and see the rest. I have to say if it wasn't for the expert advice and teaching of our agent, we would have only done half of what we did!
Lots of activities for kids and adults to do
Pros: Lots of activities for kids and adults to do
Cons: Evening entertainment for kids was limited
Review: We took our adult kids and grandkids (ages 7-12) on this trip. The boat is huge and lots of activities are offered. We had a suite and the Sky Class Access and perks were really great. The staff was really helpful and friendly. Food was good and Fitness Center is really great!
Everything you need to have the best day

All the new features from the 2019 Amplification
Pros: All the new features from the 2019 Amplification
Cons: Cats musical (performers were fantastic but the show itself is horrible)
Review: My wife and I first sailed on Oasis in 2010 and knew that we’d someday take our future family on a cruise on this ship. We’ve been saving up and finally took our 11, 9 and 5 year olds with us on the cruise of a lifetime filled with many “core memories”.
Entertainment, variety of things to do, cleanliness, value for money
Pros: Entertainment, variety of things to do, cleanliness, value for money
Cons: Ship is looking dated, service not as good as in the past, inconsistencies with bar service
Review: Overall our current trip was wonderful. We really enjoyed the dining, activities, entertainers, and ports of call. The solarium and central park areas are always enjoyable to us for some solitude amongst so much going on. We also enjoy hanging out in the promenade area with all of the shops people watching and trying to resist Sorrentos pizza. The parades were fun as was the disco party night. The crew did a great job entertaining all of us. We wish the times in port could be longer as they seemed really short on this cruise. We enjoyed them all as much as time would allow. We dined at Chops and Park 150 which were both exquisite. Main dining was great as always with impeccable service. Quality of linens and cleanliness of stateroom could have been better. Also service to stateroom is lacking due to downsizing of staff. Boarding on and off went smooth and quick. I give the entire cruise a 4.5 out of 5.
Ship itself was amazing; staff was professional and all very pleasant and welcoming.
Pros: Ship itself was amazing; staff was professional and all very pleasant and welcoming.

Review: Loved the adult only section with its own swimming area and place to eat. So much to do on the ship or you can just hang out. Entertainment was wonderful. The Aqua show was amazing as were all the shows.. The way they organize every detail from the onboarding to the debarkation was perfect. All the workers were welcoming. It really makes a difference when you are greeted with a smile. It was so professionally done. Kudos to Royal Caribbean management. They did it right! .

Review: Had a great family and friend vacation.
Efficiency of boarding and unboarding; excellent service; great foos
Pros: Efficiency of boarding and unboarding; excellent service; great foos
Cons: This is only a con for us - we had to plan everything in advance
Review: Unbelievably efficient boarding and unboarding. We did both in less than 20 minutes, which considering we are boarding with 6,000 of our friends, was almost miraculous. The service and the food in the main dining room was terrific - friendly wait staff and great food. We had a little problem with the temperature in our room and they came quickly to correct it but it never worked quite right. The ship is so large and there is so much to do that one of the problems is that if you are traveling with others it requires careful planning because it is hard to contact anyone while on the ship.
Many activities to choose from, beautiful ship, great food
Pros: Many activities to choose from, beautiful ship, great food

Review: We have been on over 20 cruises and this was the best cruise ever! The ship is beautiful and has so many activities that we loved. The entertainment was awesome and food was great. I highly recommend this ship. Even though there are a lot of people, it never seemed crowded.

Review:
Even though the Oasis of the Seas is a very large ship, we did not have to wait long for breakfast, lunch or other activities. There is alot to do on the ship, so be sure to take advantage of everything. We spoke to many travelers who indicated that they have been on the Oasis multiple times. We loved the Boardwalk and Central Park area the most.

Cons: The ship has Dazzles which is a bar with a live band and Comedy Live. Both are good venues but small in comparison to the ship size. Both could have been bigger to accomodate a bigger crowd
Review: We had a great time and would love to cruise again on this ship.
Sunshine and warm weather
Pros: Sunshine and warm weather
Cons: Crowded
Review: The ship is wonderful. Full of great food, great service, and fun activities. Kids clubs were not my kids favorite. They only went to one session and couldn’t wait to get out of it. We knew to expect a lot of people so we weren’t surprised at how hard it was to find pool chairs on sea days. Lines were long at the flow rider, for the buffet breakfast area, and elevators. We knew we would have to be patient so it didn’t bother us. We loved having the same table in the main dining room every night. By the middle of our trip, our waiters knew our choice of drink and favorite desserts. Felt nice being taken care of like that. The Shore Excursions desk helped us find the perfect activities for port days. Highly recommend the Dragons Breath Zip Line in Haiti and the All Inclusive Dolphinarious in Cozumel. Our stateroom attendant was so flexible and kind. She even left fun towel animals each night which my children really looked forward to. We also had to meet up with the on ship doctor since most of us came down with a bad cold. She was so kind and compassionate and made us feel better. Overall, our trip was great and the ship was fun.
Truly amazing! From the planning and booking, a warm welcome, itinerary, ports of call, ship's crew, stateroom attendant, dining staff, entertainment, activities, shopping and more, they were all excellent.
Pros: Truly amazing! From the planning and booking, a warm welcome, itinerary, ports of call, ship's crew, stateroom attendant, dining staff, entertainment, activities, shopping and more, they were all excellent.
Cons: Departure was organized but took longer than expected.
Review: We plan to cruise with Royal Caribbean International in the future and will share our wonderful experience with our family and friends . It was a perfect way for us to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Central Park was our favorite place onboard. What a concept. We enjoyed sailing with Royal Caribbean on Oasis of the Seas.
Direct access to dining rooms, good food & entertainment, many places to relax, something for everyone.
Pros: Direct access to dining rooms, good food & entertainment, many places to relax, something for everyone.
Cons: Waited too long to get off ship; our stateroom attendant was not up to par.
Review: We were in a handicap accessible room. We tripped several times on the ramp going out to the balcony. Perhaps it should be outlined with yellow tape. Also, hair dryer plug did not fit into the outlet under the mirror. Had to be given an extension cord to make it work.
The crew genuinely was passionate about what they do. Top notch. They went out of their way and bent over backwards to make sure everything was perfect. They even knew our names, and called us by our names every time we engaged!

Huge ship, great food, friendly staff
Pros: Huge ship, great food, friendly staff
Cons: Expensive
Review: We chose the Oasis of the Seas because it is one of the biggest ships in the Royal Caribbean fleet. There was so much to do! We loved all of the staff and had a fantastic time! We encountered slightly rougher seas when we went to port at our first destination in Haiti and were unable to make port. The staff refunded us immediately for the excursions that we were unable to participate it.
Great shows, attentive crew, and a clean ship
Pros: Great shows, attentive crew, and a clean ship
Cons: Daily general information was lacking
Review: If I have one complaint about the Oasis of the Seas is that daily on board ship information was lacking. Yes a daily printed ship itinerary was given to each cabin, but on a ship as large as this just learning the 'lay of the land' can take a few days. With all the technology on board it would seem that a simple illuminated informational scroll ( similar to what is overhead in Times Square, NY City) could be installed near each elevator area. That way passengers could easily see what is going on, when it is happening, where it is occurring, and how to get there...
There is no excuse for getting board on this boat
Pros: There is no excuse for getting board on this boat
Cons: There are a lot of people on board
Review: We were amazed at all the shows, and things to do on board. The attention to detail is spectacular, especially to cleanliness. They were visibly sterilizing all the common areas that passengers came in contact with. The food is incredible. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I was impressed how, with 6500 passengers on board, it still didn’t take long to get anywhere, and you could always find a quiet area.
Pros: No Pros

Review: We had a great time on the Oasis of the Seas! Great service, great food, and lots of great entertainment. Also, enjoyed the St. Maarten, San Juan and Labadee! Our room steward aimed to please; everytime we left the room for more than an hour when we returned we always had fresh towels. Thanks again Bryan from Room 12588.
Best food I’ve had on a cruise, by far the best service you could ask for, the entertainment was endless and high quality, And they get you on and off the boat seamlessly.
Pros: Best food I’ve had on a cruise, by far the best service you could ask for, the entertainment was endless and high quality, And they get you on and off the boat seamlessly.
Cons: They automatically draft your gratuities on your C pass card. Therefore, some of the staff does not leak in the tent to develop a personal relationship with you like they have in the past. That is the only negative thing I can say about the experience.
Review: The oasis of the sea in my opinion is the king of all crew ships. I have been on quite a few cruises and this was by far the best. Id met all my expectations and exceeded my expectations in most areas. It is a wonderful ship for children and adults alike. I really would be hard pressed to say something negative about my experience.
Excellent cabin and main dining room service, well designed and quiet cabin (D7 Ocean-view on Deck 9), multiple worthwhile evening shows, plentiful on-board activities and shore excursions, reliable VOOM wireless internet service
Pros: Excellent cabin and main dining room service, well designed and quiet cabin (D7 Ocean-view on Deck 9), multiple worthwhile evening shows, plentiful on-board activities and shore excursions, reliable VOOM wireless internet service
Cons: Continual effort to up-sell—photo “opportunities” particularly annoying, lines and crowds almost everywhere on board and ashore, ho-hum food
Review: This was our first large-ship cruise, only booked to accompany a community line-dance group, and perhaps should have “tested the cruise waters” on a smaller ship than Oasis of the seas. We were pleasantly surprised by the overall service and efficiency of both embarkation and disembarkation but dismayed by the crowds and lines everywhere—both on board the ship and for shore excursions. We were extremely impressed by the affordances of our cabin (D7 ocean view balcony)—not large but very well designed for movement, storage and comfort. Our cabin steward Antoine was highly responsive and unfailingly courteous. Food in the “free” venues was mediocre but plentiful, and our head server for evening meals was also outstanding. Both the ice show and aquatic show are not to be missed, and the comedy show was actually funny. Our biggest complaint was the continual effort to up-sell—we probably declined 100 offers to take our photograph with various props, and though I did not shop much, when I did the cashier inevitably gave me a card for another shop with his or her name on it as a referral. This is definitely a family oriented cruise—many, many kids of all ages on board, all of whom seemed to be enjoying themselves! We’re not likely to cruise again on a ship this size, but if that’s what you enjoy, RCI Oasis of the Seas is a good choice.
Abundance of activities and dining choices, great service from staff.
Pros: Abundance of activities and dining choices, great service from staff.
Cons: You'll be cruising with over 5,000 of your closest friends.
Review: This ship and it's sister ships have a ton of activities and dining choices and the crew & staff are courteous and attentive. That said, there are a ton of other cruisers on the ship as well and it gets a little crowded and noisy especially around the food venues and other common areas which can detract from a "relaxing" cruise experience. I think that serenity is more likely to be found on the smaller ships in the RC fleet. The carpets in our stateroom were showing some wear and probably need to be replaced.
Every concept on this ship.
Pros: Every concept on this ship.
Cons: Maybe a change in destination ports.
Review: The ship was amazing, the crew very friendly and accommodating, the food was great. It was a wonderful trip.
LARGE ship! We had 6,520 passengers on our cruise and believe it or not it did not feel like it.
Pros: LARGE ship! We had 6,520 passengers on our cruise and believe it or not it did not feel like it.
Cons: So many children. We booked in January thinking kids will be getting back to school after the Christmas/New Year's break. Still loaded with kids. They have programs for them so we only really saw them at the kiddy pool and at dinner in the evening.
Review: Overall, we would recommend this ship for anyone. The Solarium is a wonderful area just for adults...pool, 2 hot tubs, a lovely restaurant and lots of lounges and couches to lie on. Hubby was not excited to sail on this ship as he thought it would be "too big", but he enjoyed his vacation and would sail on it again!
Staff
Pros: Staff
Cons: Food
Review: Without question, every employee we encountered during our trip was fantastic. To a person, they were all very professional, very friendly, very passionate about delivering a great product. The ship was nice (HUGE) so plan on bringing your walking shoes. There is a lot to do on this ship. The Cruise Director and his team are AMAZING! They kept us entertained and provided a ton of activities for us to chose from. The only gripe is the quality of the food. The buffets were just ok but keep in mind they feed a few thousand people so I was not expecting a five-star meal. The lines were confusing to follow and the seating was hard to come by but they did the best they could with what they have to work with. All in all the week was amazing and we will most certainly cruise on her again!!
Everyone was so wonderful and helpful. The park was relaxing, the food was abundant and tasty and the kids loved the pools, zip line and the Dreamworks Characters. There was constant entertainment and delightful rest
Pros: Everyone was so wonderful and helpful. The park was relaxing, the food was abundant and tasty and the kids loved the pools, zip line and the Dreamworks Characters. There was constant entertainment and delightful rest
Cons: We should have economized with the drink packages-really did not need all we chose.

Review: The entertainment choices on board were Ok. But the sound "volume" was extremely, painfully "LOUD". Had to leave the different shows, could not enjoy the full programs. Also, the comedy shows did not have to include "vulgar language". Very disappointing. The Grande Dining room staff was "AWESOME". Our waiter, Juan for table was fantastic. He made sure we were all satisfied with our selections. Juan deserves to receive "special" recognition to his position as waiter. Juan is dedicated to "Guest" satisfaction.

Pros: The Oasis is BIG, has good food & some good entertainment. Our
Cons: We chose to eat dinner at 5:30 PM & most of the entertainment we wanted to see didn't start till much later in the evening. We used to be able to go a show/entertainment right after dinner. Also, Royals TV station selection leaves a lot to be desired. There should be more movie & sports channels to watch than what is now available, especially when spending time at sea! The Labadee
Review: There's lots to see & do on the ship of course, & the shops / restaurants are all very clean & well organized. The entire staff is very friendly & accommodating. The entertainment was good for the most part. The "Frozen" ice skating & the Christmas programs were excellent, but could be presented at an earlier time for those who select the early evening dinner option. Getting over 5,000 people on & off the ship went quite smoothly, but having someone with more knowledge about when our bus would be available & where to wait for it, would be a greatly appreciated addition.

Coastal Kitchen, suite lounge, suite/pinnacle sundeck
Pros: Coastal Kitchen, suite lounge, suite/pinnacle sundeck
Cons: Too many people.
Review: With at least Diamond status, this ship is great. Better yet, book a suite if you have no status and the perks are worth it. Otherwise, you may feel like a small cog in a giant machine. Lines for breakfast in the Windjammer start about 10 am. Eat earlier and there is no issue. Plenty of chaises on deck for sunning on upper decks, but those near the 4 pools are claimed early. The musical Cats should be outstanding. It is not. Other production shows are very good, including the Aqua show and ice show. Cabins are smaller than Royal Caribbean ships in the older classes. Look at the square footage dimensions given in the catalog. However, even with those negative comments, there is plenty to do or not do...your choice. I still recommend it. And for anyone fearing seasickness, this ship, and others in its class, are solid as a rock. Most days you feel NO movement at all.
Something for every age group to enjoy

Review: Fabulous family friendly vacation!
Oasis is Royal's biggest ship right now and let me tell you it is absolutely amazing. There was so much to do that we were hardly in our cabin. It was my 10 yr olds first cruise and she fell in love with Cats. I highly recommend the backstage tour and Q & A with some of the performers!

Review: I recommend getting the soda package if you have kids. Its worth the money. Get to the shows early to get a good seat. Especially if you want to sit in the front row for Cats. The performers mess with the first few rooms. Its awesome! We loved Oasis so much we booked their western caribbean cruise for May 2018.
I highly recommend the Oasis of the Seas as a wonderful get-away and cruise. Was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff who were caring and always willing to help. Our dining servers were exceptionally well who took great care of my family especially my five year old nephew who has allergies. Thanks again for everything and I hate it for my dream vacation to end

Review: OUR EVENING DINING EXPERIENCE WAS FINE. THE DESSERTS WERE FAIR IN THE DINING ROOM AND POOR CHOICES IN THE CAFE PROMENADE. LUNCH ON SEA DAYS ON THE 3RD FLOOR ICON DINING ROOM WAS WONDERFUL. THE BUFFET WAS PLENTIFUL WITH GREAT CHOICES OF FOOD AND THE DESSERTS WERE SPECTACULAR, THE CAKES AND ICE CREAM. AS FAR AS THE DIAMOND PLUS ADVANTAGES, I FELT THAT IT WAS LACKING. WE HAD OUR "HAPPY HOUR" IN THE 4TH FLOOR JAZZ CLUB, WHICH WAS DARK, NO WINDOWS TO LOOK OUT AT THE SEA. THE 11, 12TH FLOOR AREAS WAS PACKED WITH DIAMOND MEMBERS. ALSO, I FELT LIKE WE WERE STANDING IN LINE EVERYDAY FOR SOMETHING, SHOWS, RESTAURANTS, HAPPY HOUR. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO HAVE A SHUTTLE ALSO FOR HANDICAP CRUISERS FROM THE SHIP TO TOWN IN THE BAHAMAS AND TO THE TAXIS ON ST THOMAS. WE CAUGHT ONE ON ST MARTIN BUT ONLY AFTER WE CLEARED THE SHIP AREA.
Beautiful ship, excellent food
Pros: Beautiful ship, excellent food

Pros: Great entertainment
Cons: Too crowded this time. We want our Concierge Club back. Too many people since it includes Diamond too. We miss the free breakfast we had before on our other two cruises on Oasis.
Review: They need to improve the getting on and getting off the ship. It was much faster when the ship was in Ft Lauderdale.

MANY varied and interesting areas to explore on the ship
Pros: MANY varied and interesting areas to explore on the ship
Cons: Felt VERY crowded, always lines wherever you tried to go
Review: Although we enjoyed the ship very much, the endless lines and having to go to shows 45 minutes ahead of time to secure our "reserved seats" was not a pleasant experience. Food was better than we had previously experienced on RCCL but the Windjammer buffet area on deck 16 was obviously too small for the amount of passengers onboard the ship. Balcony cabin was the smallest we had ever had, small closet space, and the bathroom area was tiny with hardly any counter space.

Lots of amenities and things to do. "Central Park" is great.
Pros: Lots of amenities and things to do. "Central Park" is great.
Cons: Ship is nearly 1/4 mile long -- took 3 days to get to begin to know it.
Review: Must sign up for shows early (before leaving home) as they fill up quickly. Was assigned to "My Time" dining -- after the first night, we simply reserved the same time and table for the rest of the cruise. Still had to wait in a line to get in each night, however, although the line got shorter as the week went on..

Review: We had such a great time. The ship was huge and so beautiful. The crew could not have been nicer. Our waiters at my "My time dining" were the best. I wanted to take them home with me. The food was amazing, what a variety....We loved the entertainment, the pools, the casino, and all the other things there was to keep us busy. We even took a line dancing class. So much fun, can't wait to go again.
Huge Ship , Lots of Entertainment
Pros: Huge Ship , Lots of Entertainment
Cons: Rain (missed an excursion) Food not that great Too many people
Review: It was all in all a great cruise. We had a lot of fun. We weren't impressed with the service in Dining and Buffet. We ate mostly in the buffet everyday. Never got to see the Diving/water show due to leaving late the first night and rain. Only had one other show which we missed. Did the Zip Line. I think that Bigger is not better. Had better service on Freedom of the Seas.
There's always something to do or see! Never a dull a moment
Pros: There's always something to do or see! Never a dull a moment
Cons: Not all-inclusive so you will still end up coming out of pocket a lot of money, the food, and the spa
Review: Cruises are nice vacations. They are also easy vacations. So I recommend them for families with children and older people looking for a nice and easy vacation. Everything you need is aboard this ship. Royal Caribbean is extremely organized in all aspects from food service to safety to port regulations. And it shows! For those that are younger and looking for more adult fun (single or married), Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas has that for you too as they have something for everyone! But it's clear that we're not necessarily their target market. Come with a group of folks in your late 20s/early 30s or else risk not seeing too many others in that age bracket. I would use a cruise to get around in places that I may be uncertain about spending a whole week to get a quick feel for the country and its people. It works especially well for travelers who prefer to bounce around from hotel to hotel. This way, there's no packing and repacking. You get one room but you still get to see multiple places.

Pros: Stateroom, dining, shows, Central Park, Boardwalk, Royal Promenade, Labadee, pools, golf - putting
Cons: My time dining
Review: Found it very disrupting to have people coming and going while we were dining and all the cleaning and setting up of the tables as well. We were located very close to the main entrance so everyone had to go by our table when they arrived or left. Following the first night we asked if we could have the same table as we enjoyed the couple we were sitting with as well as the waiters (table 105). We were accommodated. However, every night we had to stand in line, give our room number, move forward to be called to be seated. By the 3rd night we decided to just go in on our own and sit at our table but were told we had to stop and give our room number. We are booked on the Oasis again and have asked for 6:30 seating on Deck 4 or 5 to avoid my-time dining which we will never do again. We hope you do not have plans to make everyone adhere to dining this way as we will stop cruising on Royal Caribbean, if you do. We have achieved Diamond Status and I would like to enjoy the "perks" this brings but not if we have to use "my-time dining."
Excellent atmosphere on ship very acomodating.
Pros: Excellent atmosphere on ship very acomodating.
Cons: Debarkation process poorly planned. LOTS of standing and waiting.
Review: I have had enough of the giant ships. Will go back to "Freedom Class" on the next cruise I plan. (That is, after we again go on the Oasis with the Trautweins in Feb-16.)
Awesome ship, excellent staff, many activities, Broadway Show "Cats"
Pros: Awesome ship, excellent staff, many activities, Broadway Show "Cats"
Cons: Not enough time in ports, too many things to see in one day.
Review: It was a wonderful cruise and everyone should take the time to do it. The ship is beautiful and so large you never know you are on the water. You have everything you need and the care and service is excellent. I hated to send the end on Saturday. I would definitely like to go on the Oasis of the Seas again and would recommend it to anyone. It is also great for families, lots of activities for children.

Pros: Rooms spacious, clean, dining experience awesome, so much to see and do
Cons: Photography studio not having photos ready in timely manner, and their staff very rude, Royal Carribean canceling an excursion without notifying us , and too late to rebook antthing else interesting
Review: This is our second cruise on the Oasis, we loved it the 1st time, loved it the second, having friends, family and fellow Cajuns on board made the trip so much fun. With the exception of photography staff, all other staff, friendly , courteous, and go above and beyond to make your experience a great one.
Beautiful ship with more activities available than a land based all inclusive resort. First rate entertainment. Many dining venues for all meals. Lots of outdoor space for sun bathing and enjoying pools and hot tubs.
Pros: Beautiful ship with more activities available than a land based all inclusive resort. First rate entertainment. Many dining venues for all meals. Lots of outdoor space for sun bathing and enjoying pools and hot tubs.
Cons: Some of staff not as friendly as I have experienced on other ships. Reservations for entertainment was confusing. State rooms are good size, but storage space is limited.
Review: Simply seeing the ship was an experience as it is so big and beautiful. Even with over 6,000 passengers, the ship is so big that no one place felt crowded. I also really liked having so many different areas to choose from for meals - especially breakfast. Central Park was my favorite area on the ship. It is so well designed, open to the sky with so many beautiful green plants. The evenings spent in Central Park, with a glass of wine, surrounded by the beauty of the plants, looking up at the stars and listening to classical music was the highlight of my trip. I was fortunate that Central Park was located just a short walk from my cabin door. Often ate breakfast in the park at the Park Cafe. However, I did not give the ship a 5 Star rating because we did have some negative experiences. Our Travel Agent made our reservations for the excellent shows on the ship months in advance. Nevertheless, when we arrived for our first show, our seats were already taken because we did not get there in time. I had no idea there was a "time limit" on the reservation. When I asked the staff person about all the seats being taken when we had reservations, he responded "You should have done your research before coming on the ship and you would have known the seats are released if you are not present 10 minutes before the show starts." Feeling very disappointed that we were going to miss the show, I would have appreciated a little more understanding like, "I am sorry you didn't know the policy" instead of a lecture on "doing my research." Considering how many staff I interacted with, overall they were very helpful and friendly, but there were several negative encounters. and that really surprised me as I had not experienced it before on the many cruises I have taken. Also, while the ship is huge with so many different places to go and things to do, there was no "relaxation/reading" area. Since I am not a sun person, I really like a quiet place over looking the water with some quiet music where I can sit and read or just relax during the day. I found the Library, but considering the size of the rest of the ship, it was like a closet! The ship was so big I may have missed that relaxation area, but I did a lot of looking and could not find it.. The Central Park area was quiet and relaxing, but it was also open to the heat during the day. Also, the rooms are a great size even with a small couch in the inside rooms; however, the storage space in the rooms is limited. Nevertheless, I would certainly recommend this ship. Like I said, just seeing the ship in all its beauty is a wonderful experience. The entertainment is excellent. The food was excellent and having the many venues was fun. This ship has something for everyone including families with small children.

Pros: Big ship with lots to do for families.
Cons: With a big ship comes big crowds so be prepared to be with 6,000+ people. Toilet amenites consisted of two small bars of soap and a shampoo dispenser. Pools are mobbed and chairs are hard to get.

Review: We really enjoyed the Oasis of the Seas. We were on the Allure of the Seas, June 2013. We are looking forward to cruising on the Harmony of the Seas. My family and I joined some of our friends on both ships (two other families). The entertainment was endless for the children and adult. We love the friendly, professional service we receive on Royal Caribbean ships.

Review: With this being our first family vacation aboard a cruise we really didn't know what to expect, but this ship exceeded our wildest dreams. Our three kids were never bored, and since we didn't purchase the wi-fi, it was a great week for them to be disconnected and enjoy all of the amenities on the Oasis. Our 16 year old daughter loved the teen gatherings at night, and met some incredible people and has enjoyed staying in touch with them. Our 15 year old loved the sports area, and our pre-teen enjoyed everything! It really never felt like we were on a boat, the Oasis has so many restaurants, shops, nightclubs, and since it is so large we never felt motion sickness! Too many things to list that we loved, we look forward to our next cruise on the Royal Caribbean!

The entertainment was outstanding. Natasha and Melvyn were our wait staff for our 6 PM dining each night, and they were very professional and most accomodating. Review: Go to guest services and get a hole punched in your Sea Pass Card. Put the card on a lanyard or on something similar for easy access. If you have connecting (inside OR outside) balcony rooms, request the balcony dividers (between rooms) removed so you can have access to your friends rooms without having to go out in the hallway. Make your reservations for the shore excursions PRIOR to getting on the ship.
Great ship, improved dining and terrific staff
Pros: Great ship, improved dining and terrific staff
Cons: St. Thomas excursion disappointed
Review: We sailed on Oasis and have seen an improvement in the MDR for both quality and service from our previous experience on Allure. I think Royal is trying to make up for some of the issues with Dynamic Dining. Royal has added a mixologist to the crew and she was responsible for training all the bar staff so there was a consistency and quality for every beverage. We did not get a drink package but the Ultimate does include bottled water (not Evian) so we would consider that in our next sailing. Had a island tour in St. Thomas that was disappointing.
I have nothing bad to say

Review: Most amazing ship!!! What a great experience
The staff on the Oasis of the Seas was outstanding.
Pros: The staff on the Oasis of the Seas was outstanding.
Cons: The snorkeling activity in St. Thomas was a joke. St. Thomas was ghetto!
Review: We just wished we could have spent more time on the islands (two of them anyway). The "cruising" was a very long experience (from St. Maarten to Fort Lauderdale). The four of us were very disappointed in St. Thomas. It was like a ghetto. A shuttle or taxi was the only way to get to the "town" and shops. The traffic was horrible. Snorkeling with the turtles (St. Thomas) was a huge disappointment. We were only there for about 30 minutes. The bottom of the ocean looked like barren dessert, and we only saw about 3 or 4 turtles briefly....a huge waste of time and $. Also, we did not get to go out on the pirate ship. Nassau was a big surprise for me. I had it pictured differently in my mind. The port city was very colorful, clean and accessible. I would liked to have had a little more time there. St. Maarten was a paradise! The shops were very accessible. The whole little town was so clean and well kept. The beaches were clean and beautiful. The water had so many shades of blue. I only wish we could have spent more time there, and skipped St. Thomas. We all said that our next trip will be to fly to St. Maarten, and rent a condo for a week. The Grand Dinning Room on the Oasis was first class. The food was delicious, and the staff catered to your every whim and need (I am diabetic.) Our room steward was exceptional. He kept kept our room immaculate. The Oasis of the Seas is a vacationers' dream ship. It was out of this world. I would so sail on it again!
The Oasis of the Seas and the Alure of the Seas are the best cruise ships I have ever experienced.

Cons: Really can't think of any, other than one week is too short.

Fun parade, ice show and comedy theater.
Pros: Fun parade, ice show and comedy theater.
Cons: Too many people. Uninteresting adult afternoon activities. Very little music by the pools
Review: The ship is definitely geared for kids. The water show and the variety show were rather dull with less than good choreography. Windjammer restaurant was a bit unorganized, poor selections(4 different shaped pasta with different sauces, no signs for gluten free entrees or desserts, salad dressings weren't identified. We guessed that the pink chunky one was thousand island and the yellow one was honey mustard. Jr. Suite was nice. Waiter and cabin steward were good. Most meals were good in the dining room---There's always steak! We would not choose that large of a ship again.
Planning was perfect for all shows. Accommodations were very good. Bus transportation was so convenient.
Pros: Planning was perfect for all shows. Accommodations were very good. Bus transportation was so convenient.
Cons: Departure was very long.

Ship is huge, has something for everyone, even with two full days at sea we never got bored. Iternary was excellent, food was excellent and ship was very prepared to manage the 6,000 passangers on board.
Pros: Ship is huge, has something for everyone, even with two full days at sea we never got bored. Iternary was excellent, food was excellent and ship was very prepared to manage the 6,000 passangers on board.
Cons: There were no details provided regarding which terminal to check in too. We selected the wrong one and just had to get on a bus to go to the next one. Since they have a bus service set up obviously a lot of people have the same issue. Also they posted in print laundry service availability yet cancelled it AFTER we prepared for it.
Review: This was a great experience. One could be overwhelmed by the size of the ship but rarely did we ever wait in lines. We signed up for shows upon entry to the ship but all of our requests were lost so be sure and get a printout!
beautifull ship, handled 6,000 people well, staff very freindly
Pros: beautifull ship, handled 6,000 people well, staff very freindly
Cons: didn't like having to book shows in advance
Review: We are already booked on the Allure. This is one of my favorite cruselines. I love the promenade deck.
Julietta & Alexio were outstanding in their service and hospitality every night in the Opus Dining Room-My Time Deck 5
Pros: Julietta & Alexio were outstanding in their service and hospitality every night in the Opus Dining Room-My Time Deck 5
Cons: Not a wide variety of activites to choose from on Port Excursions.
Review: The ship itself was amazing! Always plenty of activities to do and things to see. Food was delicious, there was nothing we had during the week that we did not like. Out waiter and assistant in the Main Dining Room-My Time Deck 5 were the best (Julietta and Alexio). Their friendliness and helpfulness was beyond our expectations. They always made us feel at home and we looked forward to seeing them each evening. The shows we saw on the ship were top notch. Enjoyed all of them.

It's so organized, the service was the best ever.
Pros: It's so organized, the service was the best ever.
Cons: Cabins are a bit smaller
Review: It really is a great ship. Even with over 6000 passengers we never felt like we were on a ship with that many people. Very well organized. The service on board was the best of any ship I've been on. The cabins are a bit smaller than we are used to and someone we met recommended getting the jr. suite, they are bigger and have walk in closets. We will definitely remember that in the future. In the dining room they put all of the guests' preferences on the computer so no matter which table you are seated they have all your info and bring your drinks and all right away, without asking. It is very much a family ship. Tons and tons of things for the kids to do and also places on the ship for adults only. Loved that. I would recommend this cruise to anyone. The ship is absolutely amazing and you never want for something to do.
Great staff everywhere.
Pros: Great staff everywhere.
Cons: Private dining a little high in price.
Review: The shows are top notch. Hairspray and the ice show were great. The diving show was one of a kind. The divers are amazing. Be sure to do the zip line. We did it for our 65th birthdays. What a hoot. . Love the sea days.
The evening dinners were amazing. The staff went over and beyond to make you feel like royalty.
Pros: The evening dinners were amazing. The staff went over and beyond to make you feel like royalty.
Cons: During sea days, there should be more sales in different areas of the ship or designated areas for each deck. Crowding was a bit unreal and reminded me of a black Friday sale. Yikes! Need more time in St. Martin, views were amazing!

Lots of entertainment and beautiful and professional shows.
Pros: Lots of entertainment and beautiful and professional shows.
Cons: The sauna&steam room was not complimentary like on other cruises. The departure day was terrible because of technical difficulties and took about 2 hours to get off the ship.
