| Catalina Island, also known as Santa Catalina, is one of the Santa Barbara Islands in the Gulf of Santa Catalina off southern California. With an area of 75 sq mi it is rugged and mountainous with an irregular coastline, and is a popular resort and center for sports fishing. The only town is Avalon with a population of about 3000. The island was sighted in 1542 by the Portuguese explorer Juan RodrÃguez Cabrillo. In 1919 it was purchased by the American industrialist William Wrigley, Jr., who developed the resort facilities. His family still owns much of the island. | ||

| Ensenada is a small fishing and commercial port catering to weekend and summer travelers from southern California. La Bufadora on the southern end of the bay is a natural rock formation where the sea explodes into a natural geyser. Beaches for swimming and surfing spots are found both north and south of Ensenada. Other local sports attractions include mountain climbing, beach-combing and hiking. Ensenada hosts the very popular Rosarito-Ensenada Bike Ride, the Baja 1000 Off-Road Race and the Newport Beach-Ensenada Regatta. Valle de Guadalupe, one of Mexico's finest wine growing area is close by. Gray whale watching in the winter time is very popular in Todos Santos Bay. | ||

Cons: Super crowded
Review: First time cruise for my daughters. They loved it!! We had so much fun, are so much and in general just relaxed and bonded. Would definitely recommend and go again. Biggest con was how crowded the boat was. It was hard to find a quiet place other than the stateroom.
Speedy check in, great value, friendly an attentive staff.

Cons: Beverage package to expensive for light to no drinker.
Review: Deon was the best cruise director by far.the comedians, Jason Love and Jimmy De Valle were funny and interactive. My room sturt, Edwardo was the best. I would love to travel with Deon again.
