Submit Your Own Review!Lower cost
Pros: Lower cost
Cons: Has been going downhill
Review: Carnival has become a babysitting service for parents who want to drink all day. Kids of all ages run rampant around the ship without parent supervision and cause problems. The cruise director, Deon, was not present or heard much. He rarely made announcements and when he did, they were creepy sounding. Everything has to be done on your phone, there is little customer service, and things close super early (food and games). Not impressed at all with this cruise and most likely will not be going back to Carnival.
Friendly staff, clean ship and a variety of entertainment options
Pros: Friendly staff, clean ship and a variety of entertainment options
Cons: Very crowded!
Review: I have taken this cruise multiple times. I had a good time but am not likely to do a spring break cruise again. The ship was very crowded and check-in was ridiculous. The staff was taxed trying to serve passengers in fine dining but aftee the first 24 hours, things settled a bit. I still had a great time but I believe Carnival could have been better prepared for their passengers. Still had a good time. . ??
As Always It was fun, Great Crew, Courteous and Helpful
Pros: As Always It was fun, Great Crew, Courteous and Helpful
Cons: It was the Sailebration Carnival's 50 years celebrated a meet up with the Carnival Miracle . wished there was the other ship that was going to meet up with us too but something came up. Wish there was some fireworks, but I guess to expensive! works
Review: I always will be a Carnival Cruise Line Fan anyway.
Good ship. great staff
Pros: Good ship. great staff
Cons: Unbelievably sucky internet
Review: Despite in-person complaints and phone complaints at the service desk about the unusable internet, I only got an offer to remove my whole internet package, no promises of actual help to improve the service. Otherwise, the staff, crew, service, food, and overall experience was great. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Great service. Great Entertainment. Great Food
Pros: Great service. Great Entertainment. Great Food
Cons: Had to go slow so we went to Puerta Vallarta first, then had to stay there bc of hurricane, didn't go to Mazatlan, then only 1/2 day in Cabo
Review: I really enjoyed the boat. It was so clean. I appreciated all the protocols for masks so that I felt safe onboard. The staff was incredible. The food was great. The entertainment was wonderful. Our cabin attendant was I Made and he was amazing. The room was always perfectly clean. He knew our names in just minutes and always treated us so kindly. Our dining room staff was Wijaya, Santos, and Edy. They were amazing!! They always had drinks for us and the service was quick and exceptional. The bar staff was great too especially Cristina on 5 by the Ocean Plaza and Ramil on deck 10 aft. We have not gone on a cruise in many years but after this experience I can't wait to go again.
Beautiful ship, never felt crowded, friendly staff, great itinerary, fun activities
Pros: Beautiful ship, never felt crowded, friendly staff, great itinerary, fun activities
Cons: Disembarkation takes time
Review: This cruise was awesome! We are a family of four with kids age 7 and 10. We flew into LAX a day early and spent the day at Disneyland which made for a great start to our vacation. We did not rent a car and used Lyft to get around LA. Lyft was convenient and reasonable. Long Beach check in was smooth and fast. After boarding the ship we loved every minute of our cruise. The kids especially loved the SkyZone trampoline park onboard the ship and did the glow party twice. The sports zone on deck 14 was also popular with many games of ping pong, foosball, and mini golf. We all did the SkyRide and Ropes course more than once. It is very cool and you get some pretty amazing views while doing it. We primarily ate on the lido deck which had plenty of good options. The breakfast was some of the best I have had on Carnival. Even though this ship is huge it never felt crowded nor did we ever wait a long time in line for anything. I have been on the Grand Princess and seven Fantasy class ships prior to this cruise so the Panorama was a pleasant surprise. Although I love the Fantasy class, I would put the Panorama at the top of the list. The water slides (body and tube) were cool and the water was heated making it that much more pleasant. Emma the cruise director and the fun squad were wonderful. They are full of energy and do a great job. My kids were always excited when Emma was around. Be sure not to miss the Lip Sync battle in the Liquid Lounge as it was the highlight of our cruise. We hired a water taxi to Land’s End in Cabo, did the All Inclusive Beach Resort in Mazatlan, and swam with dolphins in Puerto Vallarta all of which I highly recommend. We even saw whales in Cabo which we have always wanted to see. You will not be bored at any of these ports. We felt safe everywhere and the locals were friendly. In PV we also hired a taxi to take us around to the cathedral, Malecon, and romantic zone. Wal Mart is directly across the street from the ship so we stocked up on some snacks for our last two days at sea. This was a refreshing itinerary compared to sailing the Caribbean so don’t be afraid to book the Mexican Riviera. We would do it again!
Beautiful ship, updated elevators, good food
Pros: Beautiful ship, updated elevators, good food
Cons: Disembark was very unorganized. Would like to see a little better entertainment.
Review: We enjoyed the cruise very much. The excursions were great. Enjoyed the new ship. Especially liked the elevators after we got familiar with how they operated. Would like to see a little better entertainment. Comedians were not the best. Disappointed that there is smoking allowed on the walking path on one of the floors all around the ship!
