Moorea | Saturday, Sep 06, 2025 | Saturday, Sep 06, 2025 |
This magical island is what inspired James Michener to write about mythical "Bali Hai." The rugged mountains rise dramatically from the ocean and stand guard over this lush island that features everything from white sandy beaches to pineapple plantations to cascading waterfalls to secluded coves. A trip through the lushly-forested inland to Le Belvedere lookout opens a breathtaking view of deep blue waters of Cook's and Opunohu bays, which are the perfect anchorages for luxury yachts and sailboats alike. Horseback riding on the beach, bicycling and hiking into the mountains, deep-sea fishing, sailing, scuba diving, para-sailing, and much more awaits.
Fakarava | Sunday, Sep 07, 2025 | Sunday, Sep 07, 2025 |
An hour and a half flight from Papeete, rectangular-shaped Fakarava is a charming village, home to most of the atoll's 248 inhabitants. The only other - sort of - settlement (10 people ) is on Tetamanu Motu Islet located opposite the lagoon next to the smaller but prettier pass. Fakarava's immense lagoon has several black pearl farms, idyllic white sand beaches and is peppered with small islands, homes to many breeds of nesting birds oblivious to visitors.

Nuku Hiva, Marquesas | Tuesday, Sep 09, 2025 | Tuesday, Sep 09, 2025 |
Nuku Hiva is the largest island in the Marquesas archipelago, and its beauty from the sea or in the air high above the island is truly breathtaking. The 2,100 inhabitants live in Taiohae, Taipivai, Hatiheu, Aakapa, Pua, Haumi, Anaho and Hakaui, where they work for the government, the community, the Catholic church or school system or for themselves chopping copra high in the mountains, fishing, raising cattle and other livestock or sculpting bowls, platters, Marquesan ceremonial clubs, "tikis" and ukuleles.

Rangiroa | Thursday, Sep 11, 2025 | Thursday, Sep 11, 2025 |
Rangiroa is a perfect example of what happnes to a volcano when it erodes over time. Its caldera submerged, creating a body of water surrounded by a dotted ring of sand and reef. Truly one of the world's greatest diving destinations, Rangiroa attracts both amateur and professional divers worldwide.
Bora Bora | Friday, Sep 12, 2025 | Friday, Sep 12, 2025 |
Bora Bora is considered one of the most romantic places anywhere. Dominant from the moment of arrival are majestic Mount Otemanu and Mount Pahia, two towering volcanic peaks of black rock jutting out of the center of the emerald-green island. Often shrouded in clouds, these landmarks take on mysterious and mythical qualities. Off-road excursions, bicycling, and hiking into this wild beauty reveal incredible panoramas and valleys. Hundreds of brilliantly-colored fish, intricate gardens, and clear water also create some of the very best undersea worlds. For an exhilarating expedition, swim with and watch local divers feed small, non-dangerous lagoon sharks. Bora Bora has several ancient temples and authentic Polynesian villages. There are also some reminders of World War II with a number of cannon emplacements left behind by the U.S. Navy.

Raiatea | Sunday, Sep 14, 2025 | Sunday, Sep 14, 2025 |
Tahitians believe Raiatea to be the sacred birthplace of their gods and their religious and cultural beginnings. The most important and well-preserved religious site in all of Polynesia is here. It is from these shores that ancient Polynesian explorers are said to have ventured to the far off lands of Hawaii and New Zealand. Second only in size to the Island of Tahiti, Raiatea is today the trading center of the leeward islands. Raiatea is unique in that it has the only navigable river in Polynesia - the Faaroa. The rare, white gardenia called Tiare Apetahi only grows on the slopes of Mount Temehani and nowhere else on Earth! Mount Temehani is also the supposed birthplace of Oro, one principal god of Polynesia. There is a large, protected lagoon around Raiatea and its sister island Tahaa, which produces wonderful beaches and the perfect location for sailing, big game fishing, and diving.

For the safety and security of all guests and staff on board, there are Designated Smoking Areas available onboard. These areas are comfortably furnished and conveniently located near food and beverage areas. Smoking is expressly forbidden in all staterooms and suites, on verandas, or in any areas of the ship other than officially Designated Smoking Areas. Smoking in a stateroom or suite or on a veranda represents a serious fire and safety hazard to all guests and staff. Guests choosing to disregard this policy will be disembarked at the next port of call and may also be subject to additional fees that will be imposed to cover the costs associated with any damage to and the required cleaning of furnishings, verandas, and surrounding deck and accommodation areas. All areas other than those specified as Designated Smoking Areas will remain smoke-free. This includes all guest suites and staterooms, verandas, restaurants, public areas, the Casino, and all other areas of the ship. Cigar and pipe smoking is only permitted on the forward, starboard corner of the Pool Deck. The use of electronic cigarettes is allowed within designated smoking areas only.
Guests with any medical condition(s) or special needs that may require treatment or attention or accommodation during the voyage, or needing to travel with medical apparatus, including wheelchairs, motorized scooters, oxygen therapy, etc., must advise Oceania Cruises in writing at the time of deposit. Please note some ports of call may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility and in such cases, may disallow debarkation with a wheelchair or motorized scooter or for any individual with limited mobility. Oceania Cruises is unable to accommodate women past their sixth month of pregnancy. Oceania Cruises has the right to refuse or revoke passage to anyone who, in its judgment, is in a physical, mental or emotional condition unfit for travel or whose comfort onboard may be compromised due to situations beyond the care that can be provided by Oceania Cruises. Oceania Cruises will under appropriate circumstances permit its guests to use special equipment such as those noted above, which satisfy the criteria stated in the Oceania Cruises' Policy Statement.
Wheelchair Assistance
If a guest needs wheelchair assistance at embarkation and debarkation, the request must be communicated prior to departure so appropriate arrangements for assistance can be made. If a guest is requesting wheelchair assistance at the airport, they must contact the airline directly.
Oxygen
Oceania Cruises does not provide oxygen for guests. If a guest requires oxygen, they will need to bring it on board with them. The guest may contact a supply company that will deliver it to the ship for them. Oceania will need to know how many containers, what size they are, and the type. Liquid oxygen is not allowed on board Oceania ships at any time. If the guest needs oxygen for their flights, they will need to arrange it directly with the airline.
Delivery of Medical Equipment
Having medical equipment brought on board is handled on a case by case basis. Oceania Cruises must receive the full dimensions, description of the equipment, name of the delivery company, and all other pertinent information prior to the cruise.
Oceania Cruises uses a cashless system based on the U.S. dollar. All onboard purchases and services, other than the casino, will be billed to an onboard account. You will be required to register an American Express, Mastercard, or Visa card during the embarkation process.
Each stateroom has two 110 volt outlets and two 220 volt outlets which can be used for items such as battery chargers, hair dryers, razors, and personal hygiene items.
Wireless Internet service (WiFi) is available throughout all ships.
There are 16 computers available in the Oceania@Sea Internet Café on board each ship. The Oceania@Sea Internet Café is open 24 hours, until the last night of the cruise, when it closes at 11 p.m. Two additional computers are available in the library. Submit Your Own Review!Front Line staff very helpful and friendly. Middle Mgt. not so much.
Pros: Front Line staff very helpful and friendly. Middle Mgt. not so much.
Cons: Food mediocre, entertainment sub-standard, especially featured performers
Review: This was our 2nd cruise on Oceania. We were disappointed in the quality and selection of menu offerings in the main dining room. The entertainment was very dull and boring. The 2 featured/guest entertainers were awful. In speaking with fellow cruisers on this voyage, they all shared our disappointments. We all felt that Oceania is slipping in quality and service.
Smaller ship, excellent service, wonderful food and drinks
Pros: Smaller ship, excellent service, wonderful food and drinks
Cons: Yoga class was offered too late in the morning. Our beverage package was really not worth the money.
Review: This was the first ocean cruise that my husband and I have ever experienced and it exceeded expectations. The level of service was unbelievable, and our cabin steward was like a personal friend who took care of our every need.
Captain and crew were fantastic. Smooth cruising.
Pros: Captain and crew were fantastic. Smooth cruising.
Cons: N/A
Review: I submitted an earlier review and missed saying something about the captain and his crew. I was nervous about cruising (getting seasick) as this was my first cruise. It was smooth sailing the entire cruise. One very special thing I want to point out is the 360 degree view of the Hubbard Glacier. The captain was able to get close and turn the ship slowly for 360 degree view. I will never forget it!! The narration by the naturalist was incredible and very helpful too Thank you captain and crew!
The staff (butler, sommeliers, waiters, bartenders, housekeeping, and food chefs and servers) were superb - always smiling and helpful. Accommodations were spotless. The food was 9 out of 10 stars.
Pros: The staff (butler, sommeliers, waiters, bartenders, housekeeping, and food chefs and servers) were superb - always smiling and helpful. Accommodations were spotless. The food was 9 out of 10 stars.
Cons: Not really - it was a lovely experience.
Review: It was a lovely experience and we would do it again.
Staff, food, cleanliness
Pros: Staff, food, cleanliness
Cons: Size of the bathroom - totally functional but small.
Review: The Cruise was fantastic, beautiful and so calming. Ship was just perfect and so lovely. Food was fantastic and service just perfect. The weather on the Alaska cruise was just perfect as well - overall a great 10 days!!
Excellent service from staff members, Very friendly, Nice Penthouse Suite
Pros: Excellent service from staff members, Very friendly, Nice Penthouse Suite
Cons: Spotty food performance at Specialty restaurants
Review: This cruise was our first in 20 years, so wasn't sure what to expect from a luxury cruise line. Where our expectations were exceeded included all levels of service on this ship, from our butler and personal room attendant to every member we encountered of this ship's staff. All were very engaging and wanted to help in any way possible. We enjoyed breakfast every morning in the Terrace Cafe. While there were many guests who did the same, the food was prepared quickly and efficiently. Almost too efficiently since some guests couldn't find tables after securing their food. We had high expectations for the specialty restaurants, Polo Grill and Toscano. However, each for different reasons, fell short. Polo Grill for being a steakhouse that served grisly steaks that were way undercooked. Medium was Medium Rare to Rare. Disappointing... Toscano had uneven performance. The first night, both our pork and veal entrees were overcooked. The second night, the lobster risotto, lasagna and dover sole were excellent! Both evenings at Toscano, the pacing of each part of the meal was very slow. The Grand Dining room was the only venue that had perfectly prepared food and great pacing. We really enjoyed performances of the string quartet! And the standout activity was cruising the Hubbarb Glacier! It's tough to be happy with all aspects of a cruise. But we have already signed up with Oceania for a European cruise next summer on a larger ship.
Great food, best service, very clean ship, fun excursions. Great trip.
Pros: Great food, best service, very clean ship, fun excursions. Great trip.
Cons: None I can think of.
Review: We had a wonderful time on the ship and during the excursions. Already booked another Oceania sailing.

Review: Sailing on a ship with only 600 passengers you will enjoy wonderful service and exceptional dining.
small ship only about 600 passengers onboard-excellent crew
Pros: small ship only about 600 passengers onboard-excellent crew
Cons: On board extras were a little pricey such as Spa & Hair services.
Review: We picked our stateroom by the amount of sq footage it offered. It was beautiful and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and easy to maneuver in especially appreciated the large shower/ample countertop, upper cabinets and 2 drawers. The room itself had more storage than we needed so the cabin stayed clutter free. Every employee on board was friendly and helpful especially the two assigned to our cabin. We both have medical devices and our attendants got us everything we needed to use them away from home. Nothing was impossible. We totally enjoyed the dining experiences onboard and the ability to got to whichever of the 5 restaurants we felt like. One of the pleasant surprises was the tea/sandwiches/pastries served daily at 4p. We didn't discover this till the 4th day in. It was held in a large observation area up front of the ship so you could sit, sip tea and see out over the bow.
Food and service
Pros: Food and service
Cons: Lost internet for 1–2 days
Review: Very nice cruise definitely would use this line again
Crew/staff, Service, Cuisine, Beautiful small ship, Quiet, Not crowded.
Pros: Crew/staff, Service, Cuisine, Beautiful small ship, Quiet, Not crowded.
Cons: Internet access, may feel more movement from the sea in a small ship
Review: Oceania delivered a fantastic experience on a 7 day cruise to Alaska. Our first with Oceania, we felt pampered but the atmosphere/dress code is more casual than some luxury ships, which we preferred. The food was phenomenal!! The staff/crew were exceptional. We would highly recommend Oceania and the Regatta. The negative comment about internet access: Internet access is "included" with each cabin but it is only for ONE DEVICE at a time. Assuming most cabins will have two passengers, it would seem internet access for each passenger should be included. Internet access for an additional device can be purchased at $25 per day. (but you must purchase all remaining days of the cruise, you cannot choose particular days when you may need it most).
Food was above and beyond. Small ship look with a big ship feel.

Excellent food and service. Entertainment talent is exceptional.
Pros: Excellent food and service. Entertainment talent is exceptional.
Cons: No cons for us
Review: Perfect for the older crowd who value relaxation and smaller ship capacity. We love it for those reasons. Don't look for rock climbing walls or entertainment clubs for your kids. There aren't any. There is a beautiful pool, three Jacuzzis, wonderful luxury padded lounge chairs, etc. There is a putting area, shuffleboard, ping pong, and those sorts of activities. There are no huge productions shows like on the mega-ships, but several wonderful, themed shows with extremely talented singer/dancers. There is stage lighting and simple backdrops in a much smaller, more intimate theater setting. They have other talent come aboard for one or two shows. The string quartet is awesome. They perform daily at afternoon tea and before and after dinner. There are no comedians or jugglers to endure. Also, no on-board photographers always pushing a camera in your face.
First class ship and staff, and great food.

Regatta and it's crew were excellent
Pros: Regatta and it's crew were excellent
Cons: No Cons
Review: We were impressed with everything on the Regatta. The crew was helpful in every way possible. Most impressive was the fact that every crew member greeted us every time we saw them, without fail. The wait staff and food service crew were always pleasant and professional. Our stateroom steward was off the chart!

Fantastic food, great wine and cognac tasting experience
Pros: Fantastic food, great wine and cognac tasting experience
Cons: waiting for buffet service
Review: This was my first experience with this cruise line and my experience was positive. The food was phenomenal and the small ship experience was great. However, for an almost same price point - one gets more of an all inclusive experience (drinks, gratuity, laundry) with Crystal or Silver Seas. This cruise line is more of a premier experience than the bigger companies (Royal, Celebrity, Princess, Holland, etc.), however the cost is a bit too high and should rather be somewhere in between those lines and the truly all inclusive luxury ones (such as the two mentioned prior). The interior stateroom was also a bit small.
Cabin steward and dining room servers were friendly & efficient.
Pros: Cabin steward and dining room servers were friendly & efficient.
Cons: Officers rarely seen and when seen they avoided eye contact.
Review: The ship itself was fine. There were many delays. Two ports missed all together and two others cut short. Marina had a nearly identical itinerary. She left more than an hour after us but arrived at the next port we’ll before us. Regatta’s cruising speed is 2 knots slower than Marina which doesn’t seem like much but it makes a big difference.
Great food, great staff
Pros: Great food, great staff
Cons: smaller ship has more pitch and rolls in high sea states
Review: The food was the best I have ever had on a cruise. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the upgraded forward staterooms (6000 and 6001). The upgrade gave us lots of goodies like free laundry. However the staterooms were forward end of the ship and the pitch and roll was significant.
Food, staff, IT support, string quartet, beds, spa
Pros: Food, staff, IT support, string quartet, beds, spa
Cons: The concierge room was a little small
Review: We enjoyed this cruise as much or more than prior Oceania cruises on ships in penthouse suites in the Mediterranean and the Baltic. The string quartet was one of the highlights of our cruise.
A lot squeezed into two weeks

Cons: Tour travel time

Review: Great service, great food, great staff
Weather was great; ship met all our expectations. Rooms were very spacious.
Pros: Weather was great; ship met all our expectations. Rooms were very spacious.
Cons: Food consistently good; however it is always the same...need more variety and it is why we like the Red Ginger on the larger ships.
Review: Glenda and I absolutely love the Oceania Cruise line. We shipped our luggage ahead by FED EX...probably would do Luggage Free next time. Our favorite stops: Quebec City; Portland, Maine. Did our own tours: Breakers and most importantly: The Elms Servant Tour...it a must to see how "others" lived and worked. The only rain was in Quebec City but that did not deter Glenda and Rocke...see the "Holy Door" at Notre Dame des Victories.
Penthouse comfortable-lower cabins very small. Excellent food in main dining room. Excursions well handled and fun.
Pros: Penthouse comfortable-lower cabins very small. Excellent food in main dining room. Excursions well handled and fun.
Cons: Food in Polo Grill and Italian restaurants horrendous-not edible.
Review:
Fantastic crew, nice sized ship, great ports, beautiful scenery.
Pros: Fantastic crew, nice sized ship, great ports, beautiful scenery.
Cons: Few electrical outlets in staterooms, more activities for "at sea" days
Review: Wonderful 10 day cruise up the Alaskan inner passage. Enjoyed going to some of the smaller ports where we had excellent excursions & fun exploring. The Hubbard Glacier experience was amazing with the Captain getting us up close and personal to the "calving" ice. The ship was well appointed and the crew was great, always treating you with a smile.
Friendly and helpful staff, small ship, great ports
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, small ship, great ports
Cons: Food fair, tiny bathrooms, limited activities
Review: Even though the ship was recently refurbished it felt dated. I would liken it to a country club in West Palm Beach, Florida. It was very conservative with a much older crowd. Although there were some families, it seemed that the average age was well above 65. The small size of the ship was both a pro and con. Because of the small size there were not a lot of organized activities. The activities that were available during the day often did not last longer than 45 minutes, often less. Musicians played in 45 minute sets and took a lot of breaks. Conversely, the ship never felt crowded and it was able to dock in ports not available to the larger ships. This meant less touristy activities and a more "authentic" view of life along the Alaska coast. We were disappointed in the food served in the main dining hall and buffet. I am not sure if this is because the ship's food's reputation was so great and our expectations were high or if it really was mostly just adequate. There were definitely stand out dishes and the specialty restaurants were both terrific across the board. Sadly, we only got to eat in each once. Despite my grumblings, I still had a terrific time on the cruise. Just not sure this line is for me.
Staff,Amenities,Food,
Pros: Staff,Amenities,Food,
Cons: The inconsistency of the Internet.
Review: What a pleasant experience! Our stateroom was clean and though compact, there was enough room for 2 people. The steward and housekeeping were so friendly and accommodating. They were attentive to all our needs. The buffet was amazing, with so many varieties of foods to suit every taste. We really enjoyed the activities, from the lectures, wine and martini tasting to the trivia contests to the live music. I had a great massage and my brother said his facial was 'first class'.
Five stars for the ship, crew, staff, food, accommodations, value, itinerary, and even the other passengers.
Pros: Five stars for the ship, crew, staff, food, accommodations, value, itinerary, and even the other passengers.
Cons: the airline scheduling, the "reception" at the airport, the registration at the pier were more horrific than an ordeal!!
Review: No Review
Nice small ship, friendly and attentive crew
Pros: Nice small ship, friendly and attentive crew
Cons: activities on ship minimal
Review: Excellent service and very good food on Regatta. Amazon is interesting very wide and long. Some very small native villages with relatively poor living conditions. Some small animals, birds and flowers. Not too much pretty scenery. Manaus is city on the Amazon, watch out for pick pockets and jewelry snatching. Caribbean stops were nice.
Food (Bread!), Service/Staff, String Quartet, Port Lectures, Christmas Holiday Decor
Pros: Food (Bread!), Service/Staff, String Quartet, Port Lectures, Christmas Holiday Decor
Cons: Optional Excursion cancellations, Christmas/New Year meals good but not "special" for occasion
Review: Traffic in Acapulco turned a 4-destination excursion into a 2-destination excursion. We were warned about extra traffic, but not the likely consequences. It was no fault of the van driver. Meals and specialty restaurants remain excellent.
Very friendly and effient staff. Excursions well planned. Food excellent.
Pros: Very friendly and effient staff. Excursions well planned. Food excellent.
Cons: Bathtubs instead of shower stalls. Difficult to get in and out. Only one Laundry room. Always busy and crowded.
Review: Overall a great experience.

Review: Great. Met and exceeded expectations. It was totally as good as they said it would be.
Excellent ship size, excellent food and wine and beverage choices. Loved all the ports but wrangellwhich was ok
Pros: Excellent ship size, excellent food and wine and beverage choices. Loved all the ports but wrangellwhich was ok
Cons: The only con was the casino was small and had no craps table and probably 1/3 of the slots were broken. Of course it probably was a pro we couldn't lose money.
Review: The ship was a great size. We would have liked more opportunities when we were at sea. Shuffle board tournaments. Dance lessons. Cooking lessons etc
The crew from our Captain on down!
Pros: The crew from our Captain on down!
Cons: The launderette facilities--broken equipment, lengthy wait.
Review: Overall, our experiences on the Regatta as first time cruisers was most positive. Loved our suite with the veranda, the bed was quite comfy, the closets/drawers quite spacious, always lots of hot water for showers, etc. Can't say enough good things!
Great food, extra comfortable beds, very relaxed atmosphere, good entertainment, Jimmy Travis was the best
Pros: Great food, extra comfortable beds, very relaxed atmosphere, good entertainment, Jimmy Travis was the best
Cons: Too much string quartet entertainment
Review: It was kind of nice not having pictures taken, but one night would have good. Tracy Arms Fjorge was special
Great food, smaller number of passenger, good ports
Pros: Great food, smaller number of passenger, good ports
Cons: Stateroom 180 sq. ft. Vs 280 on Oceana larger ship
Review: Overall excellent cruise and with smaller ship able to get closer to Hubbard Glacier. Also able to dock at all but one port where larger ships had to ferry from anchorage. Juneau had five cruise ships in port at one time causing very crowded conditions at Humbold Glacier. Not Oceanas fault.
SHIP SIZE, CAPTAIN HANSEN, CRUISE DIRECTOR...ATTENTION TO INDIVIDUL NEEDS...
Pros: SHIP SIZE, CAPTAIN HANSEN, CRUISE DIRECTOR...ATTENTION TO INDIVIDUL NEEDS...
Cons: KITCHEN...NOTHING CAME OUT TOGETHER....EGGS WITHOUT TOAST...MAIN COURSE WITHOUT SIDES...
Review: FRIENDLY, WARM ATMOSPHERE ....THANKS TO CAPTAIN AND CRUISE DIRECTOR... TIMING OF MORNING LECTURES COULD BE A LITTLE LATER ON SAILING DAYS... EMBARCATION WAS A DISASTER... EXCURSIONS TOO PRICEY.,,,
Excellent cruise period.
Pros: Excellent cruise period.
Cons: More stops in Brazil.
Review: Oceania has been and continues to be our only choice when it comes to ocean/sea cruising.
None
Pros: None
Cons: Why haven't we done this before?
Review: I can hardly imagine a cruise in the future being able to measure up to the care and service that was part of the Oceania Regatta team. The size of the ship lent itself to an experience of individual attention and the service team made sure that this happened with positive greetings and top-flight care on all sides. We had been told from other travelers that Oceania was the best in the business, and now we are true believers. ...a great travel experience!
Pros: No Pros

Review: Would have loved to have spent more time on the Amazon with less time in the Caribbean. The Amazon experience was amazing.
Wonderful cruise line.
Pros: Wonderful cruise line.
Cons: No Cons
Review: We had the best weather going. The crew said it had rained the whole Alaska season except for our cruise. Just a little rain in Sitka, bright sunshine the rest of the time. You just can't beat the food and service on Oceania Cruise Line.
Food and service
Pros: Food and service
Cons: Dated formats, entertainment, shopping
