Singapore | Sunday, Jan 12, 2025 | Sunday, Jan 12, 2025 |
One of Asia's great economic successes, Singapore has fused diverse cultures into one dynamic nation. Behind high-tech industries and high-rise buildings lives a society with an ingrained sense of conservative Confucian values. Beneath the westernized modernity beats a totally Asian heart. Strong beliefs center around extended families, filial piety, discipline, respect and Asian work ethics. Singapore’s name, meaning "Lion City," can be traced to the 13th century, and today there is the mythical Merlion, half-lion, half-fish, standing guard at the mouth of the Singapore River as the symbol of Singapore. A recent advertising campaign billed Singapore as "A Fine City."

Coconut palms blanket this island, from hillocks right to beaches. Na Thon is the oldest town on the island. Beaches and temples scattered around the island are the main attraction. Na Thon is now a busy tourist town with hotels, good seafood restaurants and a variety of shops. Ko Samui remains an enjoyable place to spend time, with a casual, do-as-you-please atmosphere many visitors find very attractive. The town is the perfect spot for fishing or diving. Visit the nearby waterfall or Ream National Park, a great day's adventure. Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) | Sunday, Jan 19, 2025 | Sunday, Jan 19, 2025 |
Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) is often referred to as Vietnam’s jewel and the Pearl of the Orient. Located in south Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City is the country’s largest city, with more than six million people and over one million motorbikes. Under the current regime the city is once more being rebuilt. Whole blocks are disappearing, being replaced by concrete, steel and glass structures. Central Saigon, which is still the official name for the city center, shows evidence of the French colonial city, with wide, tree-lined boulevards, sidewalk cafés and elegant French architecture. The city is divided into two sections: Saigon, the municipal and historical district, and Cholon (Chinatown), where the entrepreneurial talent and private funds are concentrated. Cholon appears to be the most populated and in general the most vigorous part of Ho Chi Minh City. It is well worth a visit for its bustle and activity and its pagodas, which are reputed to be the finest in the whole city.

Nha Trang | Tuesday, Jan 21, 2025 | Tuesday, Jan 21, 2025 |
The main attractions of the coastal town of Nha Trang’s are its white sandy beaches, deserted islands and backdrop of rolling, verdant mountains. It is quite possibly Vietnam’s closest answer to a develoPed tropical resort. The Nha Trang area offers the best year-round weather in Vietnam; its clear waters and four miles of clean, uncrowded beaches encourage swimming, scuba diving and snorkeling. For now you can enjoy a relaxed seaside resort town, with a lively market, wide streets and uncrowded beaches.
Hue | Wednesday, Jan 22, 2025 | Wednesday, Jan 22, 2025 |
Hue is at the heart of central Vietnam. The landscape – with its misty Perfume River and pagodas – has long been a source of poetry and paintings. Always an important cultural, intellectual and historical city, Hue remains one of Vietnam’s main attractions.

For the safety and security of all guests and staff on board, there are Designated Smoking Areas available onboard. These areas are comfortably furnished and conveniently located near food and beverage areas. Smoking is expressly forbidden in all staterooms and suites, on verandas, or in any areas of the ship other than officially Designated Smoking Areas. Smoking in a stateroom or suite or on a veranda represents a serious fire and safety hazard to all guests and staff. Guests choosing to disregard this policy will be disembarked at the next port of call and may also be subject to additional fees that will be imposed to cover the costs associated with any damage to and the required cleaning of furnishings, verandas, and surrounding deck and accommodation areas. All areas other than those specified as Designated Smoking Areas will remain smoke-free. This includes all guest suites and staterooms, verandas, restaurants, public areas, the Casino, and all other areas of the ship. Cigar and pipe smoking is only permitted on the forward, starboard corner of the Pool Deck. The use of electronic cigarettes is allowed within designated smoking areas only.
Special arrangements can be made for guests requiring diabetic, gluten-free, lactose-free, kosher, vegetarian, and vegan meals. Other diets must be requested for approval and, in some cases, may require additional medical documentation.
Oceania Cruises has established contacts throughout the world with several different emergency rooms/hospitals where onboard doctors can refer patients for medical care.
Oceania Cruises is unable to accommodate women past their sixth month of pregnancy.
Guests with any medical condition(s) or special needs that may require treatment or attention or accommodation during the voyage, or needing to travel with medical apparatus, including wheelchairs, motorized scooters, oxygen therapy, etc., must advise Oceania Cruises in writing at the time of deposit. Please note some ports of call may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility and in such cases, may disallow debarkation with a wheelchair or motorized scooter or for any individual with limited mobility. Oceania Cruises is unable to accommodate women past their sixth month of pregnancy. Oceania Cruises has the right to refuse or revoke passage to anyone who, in its judgment, is in a physical, mental or emotional condition unfit for travel or whose comfort onboard may be compromised due to situations beyond the care that can be provided by Oceania Cruises. Oceania Cruises will under appropriate circumstances permit its guests to use special equipment such as those noted above, which satisfy the criteria stated in the Oceania Cruises' Policy Statement.
Wheelchair Assistance
If a guest needs wheelchair assistance at embarkation and debarkation, the request must be communicated prior to departure so appropriate arrangements for assistance can be made. If a guest is requesting wheelchair assistance at the airport, they must contact the airline directly.
Oxygen
Oceania Cruises does not provide oxygen for guests. If a guest requires oxygen, they will need to bring it on board with them. The guest may contact a supply company that will deliver it to the ship for them. Oceania will need to know how many containers, what size they are, and the type. Liquid oxygen is not allowed on board Oceania ships at any time. If the guest needs oxygen for their flights, they will need to arrange it directly with the airline.
Delivery of Medical Equipment
Having medical equipment brought on board is handled on a case by case basis. Oceania Cruises must receive the full dimensions, description of the equipment, name of the delivery company, and all other pertinent information prior to the cruise.
Oceania Cruises uses a cashless system based on the U.S. dollar. All onboard purchases and services, other than the casino, will be billed to an onboard account. You will be required to register an American Express, Mastercard, or Visa card during the embarkation process.
Each stateroom has two 110 volt outlets and two 220 volt outlets which can be used for items such as battery chargers, hair dryers, razors, and personal hygiene items.
Wireless Internet service (WiFi) is available throughout all ships.
There are 16 computers available in the Oceania@Sea Internet Café on board each ship. The Oceania@Sea Internet Café is open 24 hours, until the last night of the cruise, when it closes at 11 p.m. Two additional computers are available in the library. Wireless Internet service is available throughout all ships.
Every Oceania vessel is equipped with limited medical facilities and staffed by internationally accredited medical personnel. Customary emergency room fees and charges do apply for medical services and are dictated by the services performed by the ship’s medical staff.
For those enthusiasts seeking enlightenment beyond that found in a library or lecture, Oceania Cruises offers the only custom-designed and truly hands-on cooking school at sea. At The Culinary Center, you will learn how to prepare a variety of exquisite dishes at your own fully equipped workstation in a state-of-the-art teaching kitchen. Master chefs from around the world offer guidance and inspiration to fine-tune your techniques, but you will actually prepare the dishes yourself. It's the ultimate way to learn and truly absorb every step of each recipe, especially since at select ports you may accompany the instructor chefs while shopping for fresh ingredients ashore at local markets on the exclusive Culinary Discovery ToursTM.

Review: Very organized and loved all the things to do . Lots of places to eat and great varieties
Large ship for Oceania but not large.
Pros: Large ship for Oceania but not large.
Cons: Little hot but it is July
Review: Larger meant not as friendly as their smaller ships.
The Riviera and The Staff, the food and the beautiful ship.
Pros: The Riviera and The Staff, the food and the beautiful ship.
Cons: Communications, Currency Exchange, Internet
Review: For the first time in our five Oceania Cruises we were disappointed to an extent. Visiting Southeast Asia, particularly the Chinese controlled region is a bit difficult and frustrating. Our internet was essentially blocked and not available for nearly a week, language and communications were difficult and on two occasions 'money exchanges' attempted to steal through the exchange process. Acceptance of American credit cards is inconsistent. The one negative comment I'd make is that Riviera's internet definitely needs to be upgraded. There was widespread frustration among the guests about it, when we were away from the Chine 'influence'.
service, food, cleanliness
Pros: service, food, cleanliness
Cons: Excursions were not up to the usual Oceania quality
Review: Excursions: 1. Kochi Caves was fine but the guide was barely able to converse in english. 2.Kochi garden tour was simply a waste of time and money and even a worse guide.3. Kaoshiung ten drum experience. The drumming was excellent but wasn't there anything interesting closer to the ship? If not, Don't stop at Kaoshiung. Too bad Keelung was so far from Taipei.4. Hong Kong: Lantau Island and the Peak tour was interesting but Do not take people to gawk at the people living at Tai O village. That was like peeking into poverty stricken living. All concerned were embarrassed. 5. Evening out in Saigon was excellent - the best of the excursions. However, why not consider using the tender boats to get people into Saigon instead of fighting impossible traffic on buses.
The ship satisfies all your needs and more
Pros: The ship satisfies all your needs and more

Review: My husband and I spent 12 nights on the Riveria for our trip to Japan. The ship has been renovated in the past coupe of years and is just beautiful. Every area of the ship has something to offer its passengers such as cooking classes, art, bingo etc. The dining room is absolutely beautiful with a different menu every night and if your not happy with that you can go up to the 12th floor, the outdoor cafe and eat grilled steak, lobster, shrimp baby lamb chops and an assortment of different foods. This is I think my third time using Oceania and have never been dissatisfied.
Great accommodations, personal service, fabulous food
Pros: Great accommodations, personal service, fabulous food
Cons: None
Review: It was a fantastic first time for us sailing on the Riviera. We just felt it was the best way to travel and see the ports we did. We have already booked 2024 and 2025 cruises.
The food is amazing with specialty restaurants at no charge
Pros: The food is amazing with specialty restaurants at no charge
Cons: Cant think of anything negative.
Review: I love the ship and all the friendly staff who make the experience great. The General Manager invited us to dinner at Privee as I am a platinum member of the Oceania club. Several lovely cocktail parties were hosted by the senior staff. Due to bad weather and high winds we missed two ports as couldn’t guarantee a safe arrival and departure. Immediately they got together and planned many activities aboard. A cooking demonstration, speakers, golf in the Martinis bar, trivia, and other activities.
The remodel bathrooms feature an oversized walk-in shower with a ceiling-mounted rainforest shower head and hand-held shower wand.
Pros: The remodel bathrooms feature an oversized walk-in shower with a ceiling-mounted rainforest shower head and hand-held shower wand.
Cons: No Cons
Review: We were so lucky with the weather during this entire cruise; except for port Paamiut, Greenland which the ship can not anchor plus tender are not safe due to floating iceberg and fog so the captain decided to skip this port. There was a tender mishap when returning from port Lerwick (Shetland Islands), Scotland to ship. The tender bumped not once but twice while trying to dock; we were safe but some people got hurt including one with broken nose and twisted ankle. The food quality seems lower compared to the cruise we took on October 2019; maybe due to the pandemic or cost cutting.
small ship, excellent food, excellent service, lots of activities, new big bathrooms, more inclusive in price
Pros: small ship, excellent food, excellent service, lots of activities, new big bathrooms, more inclusive in price
Cons: sometimes a port was not stopped at, internet was irregular and slow
Review: It was an excellent cruise. We loved it so much that we booked another on this cruise. Can't wait!
Great food and variety of food and special restaurants; superb accommodations with balconies; excellent staff
Pros: Great food and variety of food and special restaurants; superb accommodations with balconies; excellent staff
Cons: Tenders used for most ports of call—okay but takes more time to get ashore; online scheduling of shore excursions filled early and we had to deal with it onboard the first day; flight scheduling could be better.
Review: This was our second Cruise (Baltic was first)with Oceania and we will go again! You can go formal or informal which we like to have the choice. Food and service were excellent no matter if you were eating in the formal dining room or the Terrace Cafe—buffet. Small ship with about 1,500 guests who were mostly adults. Very little to do for children. Ship was clean and everyone was very friendly. If you want fine dining with great accommodations and an adult atmosphere, Oceania is a great choice! They provide great entertainment at night and great land excursions as well.
A great way to travel. A floating hotel with all the comforts of home. All food, activities and entertainment in one place!!
Pros: A great way to travel. A floating hotel with all the comforts of home. All food, activities and entertainment in one place!!
Cons: Not always the amount of time you’d like in port but the pros out way the cons
Review: Loved getting back to sailing with Oceania and seeing the world.
wonderful vista suite, incredible ship staff
Pros: wonderful vista suite, incredible ship staff
Cons: crowded tours with clogged toilets at stops, food on ship was mediocre
Review: Overall, a wonderful experience for us. Sonu was incredible catering to our needs. Without him, we would not have enjoyed the trip. Ginselle (spelling?) who works in the spa was great, such a sweet person too. Best part of the ship was your crew--all wonderful people. Kotor panoramic tour-stop for snack was disappointing--we were one of the last buses and bus had trouble parking, toilets were clogged. Just too many people doing the same thing. Wish we had gone to Dubrovnik instead of Split and Monaco instead of Marseilles. Toscana and Jacques--delicious. Grand Dining Room, Polo and Terrace cafe were disappointing. Iquomenitsa port was a nightmare--took us 2 1/2 hours to get through port security. Due to my husband having Parkinson's, we did not go to any of the entertainment, but I'm told I have to give it a rating Should be not applicable

Pros: Excellent food, gourmet restaurants and service
Cons: Entertainment was sub par
Review: The Riviera was an intimate shape with superb service and abundant rooms. We loved all the restaurants and enjoyed meeting new people at our shared tables !
Great Ship, Fabulous Crew, “Michelin” level food, and great weather
Pros: Great Ship, Fabulous Crew, “Michelin” level food, and great weather
Cons: Airports and air travel in general.
Review: Very smooth vacation, with all connections made. Cruise travel has improved in the past few years and embarkation and debarkation are so much more organized and efficient than in the past.
Wonderful staff, clean ship, staff usually remembers your name in a day or two. Rooms are cleaned twice daily and turn down service in the evening. Food is fantastic. Plenty of activities on board.
Pros: Wonderful staff, clean ship, staff usually remembers your name in a day or two. Rooms are cleaned twice daily and turn down service in the evening. Food is fantastic. Plenty of activities on board.
Cons: None
Review: There is a majority of older people (65 and up) on board. This didn’t bother my wife and I at all. The conversations we had were great and we learned more from the Foreign travelers . I can’t emphasize the staff was great enough. We will travel Oceana again.
Accommodations, Food, Itinerary
Pros: Accommodations, Food, Itinerary
Cons: Slow service in dining room, wine selection for price
Review: Overall a wonderful trip. Stateroom service was excellent, and people in general could not do enough. Food was outstanding with very little complaints.
Staff throughout the ship were professional and kind; always a wonderful selection of food and drink;
Pros: Staff throughout the ship were professional and kind; always a wonderful selection of food and drink;
Cons: Not really suitable for someone with a mobility impairment;
Review: Riviera is going in to drydock for an update, and just in the nick of time, since the interior of the ship is in need of freshening up. We knew that when we chose this sailing date, so that was not a surprise. Our biggest disappointment was that despite the demographics of an aging cruise population, not a single excursion was deemed handicap accessible. The limited number of accessible cabins presented us with no choice but to upgrade to an expensive level where there would be sufficient room for us. The staff was wonderful in handling my husband's limitations, kind in serving us, and always friendly. The butler was of no real use to us, and the concierge was rarely seen in her office. Overall, the ship's activities, excursions, and style seemed out of date.
Best food ever, terrific service, extremely good organization for embarking and disembarking during port calls.
Pros: Best food ever, terrific service, extremely good organization for embarking and disembarking during port calls.
Cons: No lardge production entertainment, and a very small casino with just a few tables

Review: Enjoyed the cruise.
Great ship. Very clean and a friendly helpful staff. Food was the best I have ever had on a cruise.
Pros: Great ship. Very clean and a friendly helpful staff. Food was the best I have ever had on a cruise.
Cons: Wi-Fi is very poor.
Review: The Wi-Fi was well below the level of performance I have experienced on all the other cruise lines I have traveled on. It was constantly intermittent forcing the user to log on and off. It was also offered no charge to only one user per cabin which was a shock as it has always been available to all passengers on other cruise lines I have been on....Celebrity, Royal Caribbean etc... Seemed to be not in line on what I was expecting from a top of the line cruise line.
Beautiful ship with amazing service.
Pros: Beautiful ship with amazing service.

Review: Can’t wait to cruise on Oceania again.
Ideal way to enjoy the exclusive ship's amenities. The ship's size is perfect!
Pros: Ideal way to enjoy the exclusive ship's amenities. The ship's size is perfect!
Cons: Some rough seas. Missed having an indoor/enclosed pool.
Review: We loved the 4 specialty restaurants we enjoyed (no charge) - each so special and all delicious meals. The Penthouse suite were ideal for us and the butler was perfect - so helpful, friendly, and attentive.
Welcoming staff. Excellent accommodations. Cleanliness. Overall quality entertainment.

Review: It was a wonderful cruise with excellent service and delicious food. The buffet offered delicious seafood and the specialty restaurants provided gourmet cuisine and extraordinary attention. Our excursions were full of history and cultural information. We highly recommend the concierge level with a special lounge and daily treats and room service.

Pros: Beautiful ship, wonderful staff, and amazing cuisine.
Cons: August heat in Europe was brutal, but the ship was our oasis.

Food was great, good choices, Spa massages were wonderful but pricey
Pros: Food was great, good choices, Spa massages were wonderful but pricey
Cons: Spa morning stretch classes started too late to attend most days because of shore excursions, several activities overlapped in time so had to pick one, other activities weren't of interest.
Review:
Overall feeling of good will and cooperation among the crew and service staff, lovely library, classical music as part of the entertainment options, efficient and lovely stateroom design, quiet atmosphere
Pros: Overall feeling of good will and cooperation among the crew and service staff, lovely library, classical music as part of the entertainment options, efficient and lovely stateroom design, quiet atmosphere
Cons: bit pricey but we got our money's worth, special restaurants were not all that special
Review: This was our first ten day cruise and we found the Riviera very comfortable and welcoming. The excursions arranged by Oceania were excellent, very well educated and well spoken guides. We learned so much from the excursions. The food in the Grand Dining room was just as good as any of the food in the special restaurants. We liked the option of being able to dine just as a couple most of the time. Being able to end every evening by listening to a string quartet was a special treat.
Incredible cuisine and very luxurious beds and amenities
Pros: Incredible cuisine and very luxurious beds and amenities
Cons: No on demand movies and some specialty dining hosts are "rude"

Review: If you are into Food & Wine this cruise line is for you!!
- There are 4 specialty restaurants (Steak house, Italian, French and Asian Fusion) with fantastic menus. All guests are guaranteed 1 dinner at each of these restaurants.
- The general dining areas had the same level of food quality & taste including in the Grand Dining Room, Terrace Cafe (lobster tails grilled to order every night) and Waves Pool Grill (surf & turf or the best reuben for lunch).
- For healthier options I enjoyed the smoothie and fresh juice bar as a lighter alternative for breakfast. While on-board the Oceania team was installing their new "plant-based" meal options on the lunch & dinner menus. These dishes were so tasty, you wouldn't have known they were meatless!!
- The best meals were at La Reserve. This specialty restaurant partnered with Wine Spectator & Dom Perignon & Jacque Pepin to create absolutely amazing meals! These meals all begin outside of the restaurant where guests lounge with a glass of bubbly or two along with a canape. The meals lasted 3 to 3 1/2 hours each with a maximum of 24 guests. The service and attention to detail from the culinary and dining team was very special. They made sure we always had enough wine available to sample with each bite! Would do these again on my next voyage!!
- "The Odyssey" was a wonderfully paired 7 course meal. Highlights included the biggest scallop I have ever seen seared with a teriyaki glaze, Maine lobster with a sea urchin bisque and veal wellington - all dishes worked really well with the wines presented. If you enjoy all types of wines (bubbly, sweet and dry white, along with red) you will enjoy this meal.
- The Don Perignon dinner was a 6 course meal of indulgence!! Grade 9 Waygu beef, blue lobster in a curry broth, gold leaf in a black truffle risotto and a mole sauce so complex served with scallop & foie gras... the food was amazing. Oh yes and the entire meal was paired with three different vintages of Don Perignon. While the wine & food pairings were not as strong as those in the Odyssey menu, I would not have changed anything with this experience.
- There are plenty of foodie activities not tied with meals! The Culinary Center teaches one or two 90 minute classes each day with topics ranging from pasta making to grilling to knife skills. You are paired up at cooking stations to learn hands on with the chef instructor. Bring your appetite as you get to eat what you make along the way!! There were culinary demos in the theater where we could watch the culinary team prepare some of our favorite restaurant dishes. And there is also many culinary excursions to pick from in port that included visiting local markets and cooking in a local kitchen - learning local dish recipes.
perfect size ship and amount of people, fantastic food
Pros: perfect size ship and amount of people, fantastic food
Cons: NONE
Review: This ship is a first class experience. The mid sized ship has all the features of the larger ships and less people. It is beautifully decorated. The crew was there to pamper and please and were actually happy to be doing their jobs. They live up to their tag line of the finest cuisine at sea. All the dining options were fabulous. All food at the buffet served to you. Kobe beef and lobster burgers at Waves grill were amazing. Dinner buffet was spectacular. Entertainment was very good... the resident troop of 12 were so talented. First rate shows. The fill in entertainment was also quite good. No problem with seating anywhere on the ship.
Best food on any cruise ship, and I'm a cruise snob having sailed mostly on Crystal and Regent
Pros: Best food on any cruise ship, and I'm a cruise snob having sailed mostly on Crystal and Regent
Cons: Door keys don't work well and safe is in an impossible position.
Review: Service was first class........any problem was handled immediately. Other than the fact that it is not "all inclusive", if you only have a glass of wine with dinner, don't do the "free" shore excursions, especially in the Caribbean, it is the best bang for your buck!! Only thing that does not put them in the luxury category......................as I said before, food in the 4 restaurants is superior to any on Regent or Crystal.
Everything
Pros: Everything

Review: Wonderful restful holiday.
Best staff around from the housekeepers to the Captain waitstaff excellent
Pros: Best staff around from the housekeepers to the Captain waitstaff excellent
Cons: Some of the excursions do not measure up to the brochure listing
Review: Would sail with them again. This was our 2nd trip. Food superb, choice of 4 great restaurants included in price. Country club casual dress. Very comfortable. Mattresses excellent.
Amazing crew treats you like family and the food was fabuloso.
Pros: Amazing crew treats you like family and the food was fabuloso.
Cons: too crowded in Terrace cafe at lunch on sea days
Review: Oceania Riviera has something for everyone. There is plenty of room to relax in the library or other public rooms, play trivia, take a dance or yoga class. Learn how to make pasta in the Culinary Center. Listen to lectures or play bridge. There are so many dining options to choose from. Red Ginger (Asian), Polo Grill(steak and Lobster), Jacques(French), Toscana (Italian) as well as the Grand dining room with daily specials. Do not forget your specialty coffee in Baristas on deck 14. There is so much to see and do and the longer itineraries allow you to enjoy it all.
The itinerary for both trips; the food, the service and the size of the ship: we also did the pre cruise land package which was spectacular.
Pros: The itinerary for both trips; the food, the service and the size of the ship: we also did the pre cruise land package which was spectacular.
Cons: Weather prevented stop in two ports but as a result, we did not experience any real bad weather

Pros: Love the size. Rooms and bathrooms are beautiful. Caters to adults looking for a luxury and educational experience. Food is very good
Cons: Can’t think of any. Entertainment is limited but it was just fine for us after active port days.
Review: As you can see, we love Oceania and most especially the Riviera. We are always made to feel welcomed and appreciated.
Accommodations very spacious and comfortable. Food was excellent and the choices were fantastic.
Pros: Accommodations very spacious and comfortable. Food was excellent and the choices were fantastic.

Great restaurants, Great food, great spaces (pool, library, lounges, etc), great music!
Pros: Great restaurants, Great food, great spaces (pool, library, lounges, etc), great music!
Cons: No restaurant or food available late night other than room service
Review: Overall a wonderful cruise. Ports were great other than Alicante. Needed more time in Lisbon. All else was fantastic!
Beautiful ship, excellent service and fantastic food.
Pros: Beautiful ship, excellent service and fantastic food.
Cons: Though our excursions were mostly very good we had one that was not properly managed and did not follow the program as advertised. No one was willing to really assist in some type of credit or adjustment, nor seemed to have authority to do so.
Review: Riviera is a great ship and overall the crew was fantastic. We were very satisfied for our first cruise!
We really enjoyed the alternative restaurants and the fact the there was no additional charge
Pros: We really enjoyed the alternative restaurants and the fact the there was no additional charge
Cons: The Internet on board is painfully slow!
Review: Oceania is a great cruise line for those that enjoy wonderful food and wine. The cabins and large and the beds are heavenly! O life is a good option as some of the shore excursions offered seemed a little pricey. The staff was great and always made you feel at home
We enjoyed everything about the ship and ports
Pros: We enjoyed everything about the ship and ports
Cons: The only thing better would be for it to be all inclusive (beverages).
Review:
Beautiful ship, good customer service, wonderful food
Pros: Beautiful ship, good customer service, wonderful food

Review:
Great food/restaurants, attention to detail, comfort
Pros: Great food/restaurants, attention to detail, comfort
Cons: Not sure if we're cruise people
Review: This was our first cruise. The crew could not have been friendlier or more helpful, the accommodations were clean & beautifully maintained. Excellent restaurants, delicious food, good wine lists. If I were to cruise again, I would look harder at the itinerary, & choose one that had no anchorages; the tenders were very difficult for me. And, if we do cruise again, it will probably be in low season. We are used to immersing ourselves in a destination when we travel; the cruise provides only a taste of a destination, making the experience somewhat incomplete. Most of the ship's on-board activities held no interest for us, although, if we were to cruise again, we would probably sign up for cooking classes.
Beautiful ship with a lot of amenities. Gorgeous and spacious suite. Great food
Pros: Beautiful ship with a lot of amenities. Gorgeous and spacious suite. Great food
Cons: Butler service was not a helpful as I had hoped 2 out of 4 requests were met
Review: Wine selection was ok, but reasonably priced. Food was great. A lot of great food and wine related activities on ship. I wish I had more time to do those. Regular group tours were large (approx 40 people) which made it hard to hear the guide and get pictures (a little stressful for me). Small tours were great! Food and Wine program activities and excursion were great! The were informative, interesting and fun! Just as I had hoped. I didn't experience ship entertainment
Great itinerary, excellent crew, nice stateroom, excellent cuisine
Pros: Great itinerary, excellent crew, nice stateroom, excellent cuisine
Cons: Would have enjoyed more time in various ports, but realize thats the tradeoff to seeing more ports.
Review: Overall wonderful experience. Exceeded expectations. Have only done river cruises in the past. A bit wary of larger ship. But shouldnt have been concerned. This size ship still offers personal service and attention to detail that we had learned to appreciate on the smaller river ships.
Pros: No Pros
Cons: No Cons
Review: One of the most amazing experiences we have ever had. We were treated like royalty - the staff was amazing. The ship was gorgeous. The food was amazing!!
Excellent service from cabin attendants and all restaurant workers.
Pros: Excellent service from cabin attendants and all restaurant workers.
Cons: Reception and leadership could take a few lessons in good manners. Food preparation MUST be improve.

Loved the cooking classes!and the chef. The food was super except the main dining room needs help from the culinary chef in making lobster Pad Tigh. The efficiency was amazing.
Pros: Loved the cooking classes!and the chef. The food was super except the main dining room needs help from the culinary chef in making lobster Pad Tigh. The efficiency was amazing.
Cons: My cabin needed a good rug shampoo! We found the art was not too appealing but more variety might help.
Review: Overall a splendid trip. The ports were varied and Tangier was a disappointment. Perhaps Fez might have been better? Seville and Maderia and Lanzarote were my favourites.Next time I would choose my own flight details as My trip was lengthier than needed. Others had difficulty from Vancouver Island as well.
food, entertainment, accommodations, stabilizationers,
Pros: food, entertainment, accommodations, stabilizationers,
Cons: Not enough deck chairs or at least they didn't supervise them properly
Review: Very nice experience. Too many ports required tenders and the seas were too rough for the tenders
food and service was excellent. Entertainment was very good for a ship this size.
Pros: food and service was excellent. Entertainment was very good for a ship this size.
Cons: had to tender in two ports.
Review: outstanding trip and ship was great.

Pros: Food, drinks, service, stateroom, ports, internet, shows
Cons: Perhaps more shops...no booze store, people saving pool deck lounge chairs.
Review: We had a wonderful time with our friends and were lucky to have good weather and calm seas. The only disappointment was having to by-pass Santa Marta, Colombia due to high winds. We appreciated the paid gratuities and cruise credits. All of the specialty restaurants were outstanding.

Review: I love, love, love this cruise line! I felt like a queen and whenever I needed something or had a question, it was delivered with promptness and with a smile. We will probably not use any other cruise line as Oceania spoiled us!
What can I say, our cruise was outstanding! All the staff were so welcoming and made our voyage over the top! The service and food were over the top! We loved it so much, we booked another cruise before leaving the ship!
Pros: What can I say, our cruise was outstanding! All the staff were so welcoming and made our voyage over the top! The service and food were over the top! We loved it so much, we booked another cruise before leaving the ship!
Cons: The only con would be a slow wi-fi. We couldn't always contact family and friends .
Review: We enjoyed it so much and will miss everything!
Ship quickly became a home-away-from-home with staff very attentive. Riveria was in excellent condition, stateroom was comfortable and homey, entertainers were able to connect with passengers, and ports were exciting with excellent land excursions.
Pros: Ship quickly became a home-away-from-home with staff very attentive. Riveria was in excellent condition, stateroom was comfortable and homey, entertainers were able to connect with passengers, and ports were exciting with excellent land excursions.
Cons: Despite being known for their food, the main dining options were not up to reputation. The specialty restaurants were top notch, but other dining venues were not as good. Most important negative is the terrible internet connection on the ship - it was extremely slow and difficult to use. A real negative.
Review: Loved the informal nature of the ship, ability to meet people and have dinner with them as opposed to being assigned tables, and the overall customer service on the ship.
GREAT FOOD, GOOD SERVICE
Pros: GREAT FOOD, GOOD SERVICE
Cons: WITH GROUP WOULDN'T LET US OPEN DOORS ON BALCONY OF ROOMS
Review: WOULD LIKE UNLIMITED BAR PACKAGE DON'T LIKE CHARGES FOR EVERY DRINK, AROUND POOL COULD STAND A LITTLE BETTER MUSIC CHOICES SEEMED SO DEAD AND COULDN'T HEAR OR NOTHING PLAYING MOST OF THE TIME

Pros: Everything
Cons: Internet is horrible. Limited access
Review: The only bad thing was the internet access. It hardly ever worked and when it did it was not consistent and very slow. The entertainment could be better but it was ok.
Beautiful ship, great staff & food.
Pros: Beautiful ship, great staff & food.
Cons: 4 at-sea days is too much, weather wasn't the greatest (not Oceania's fault)
Review: Dr Ford, the lecturer was terrific, the last minute change in port due to a medical emergency was unfortunate, but (again) not Oceania's fault, everything else was up to the lines high standard.
Cleanliness, Super staff, great dining
Pros: Cleanliness, Super staff, great dining
Cons: slow embarkation & Debarkation, high wine prices
Review:
Staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Food in all restaurants is very good, but the 4 signature restaurants exceeded our already high expectations. Entertainment was wonderful, and we enjoyed the various spots (string quartet, Oceania Ensemble more than ever before.
Pros: Staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Food in all restaurants is very good, but the 4 signature restaurants exceeded our already high expectations. Entertainment was wonderful, and we enjoyed the various spots (string quartet, Oceania Ensemble more than ever before.
Cons: Service was very slow in the Grand Dining Room. It was difficult to make plans for after dinner because they seemed to drag on forever. Often we ignored the dessert menu because we'd already been there 2 hours.
Review: The Ship's officers and crew were extremely professional and courteous. The cruise director and assistant were very pleasant and helpful, as was John Ekin, the social director. Having been on so many previous Caribbean cruises, we didn't take any shore excursions, but our traveling companions did and had some uncomfortable experiences. We weren't very impressed with Grenada. However, to be fair, St. Barts is the only island of all W.I. ports which is attractive to us. Just can't beat the Caribbean weather. Last year both my wife and I signed up for the VIP liquor packages, but this year only she did. I think the package is too expensive, and I'm glad I didn't take it this year.
Diverse activites for all passengers. Amazing staff. Beautiful ship.
Pros: Diverse activites for all passengers. Amazing staff. Beautiful ship.
Cons: Shows begin at 930pm which is late for those passengers dining early
Review:
Food outstanding as usual; staff most willing in most cases; however, experienced a few not so
Pros: Food outstanding as usual; staff most willing in most cases; however, experienced a few not so
Cons: Luggage took five hours to get to stateroom. Not very helpful trying to get staff to help. Encountered difficulty getting on internet and a staff member at Reception desk was almost rude to us and we are fairly wifi savvy.
Review: If comparing Riviera to prior cruise a few years ago on Nautica, would have to say that Nautica overall was much better. Overall experience was good but would have to consider which ship to take if on another Oceania voyage
Great Service and Amenities!
Pros: Great Service and Amenities!
Cons: So-So ports, pulling into a port on Sunday with everything closed.
Review: Great ship, service and food!
Entertainment on this cruise was much better than we experienced in the past. Beautiful ship and great service and food.
Pros: Entertainment on this cruise was much better than we experienced in the past. Beautiful ship and great service and food.
Cons: see below
Review: Our only complaint was they really do not want to seat guests alone in main dining room. They insist you share a table and make a fuss if you also insist on sitting alone. Sometimes there are reasons why we want to be alone at dinner and they embarrass the guests while checking in for dinner. This happened often with us and many other guests. Otherwise the service and food in the main dining room was excellent.
The staff is all one could wish for.
Pros: The staff is all one could wish for.
Cons: None
Review: Toscana and Red Ginger continue to be the best specialty restaurants on the ship but the Grand Dining room is also a favorite. Also it is nice having Happy Hour in several venues.
Having taken several cruises with Oceania I have come to expect great food, clean ships, accommodating staff and just a wonderful overall experience.
Pros: Having taken several cruises with Oceania I have come to expect great food, clean ships, accommodating staff and just a wonderful overall experience.
Cons: Internet is not to the standards I would expect.
Review: I brought twelve people from my company on this cruise. All of them were first time cruisers and were blown away by the Oceania experience. I have already booked a cruise for Fall of 2017.
Wonderful cuisine, great room/ location on ship, very nice pool area, lots of entertainment options. Musical groups on 15th deck lounge/pool area were great for dancing.
Pros: Wonderful cuisine, great room/ location on ship, very nice pool area, lots of entertainment options. Musical groups on 15th deck lounge/pool area were great for dancing.
Cons: Organized entertainment in theater was so-so. Some tours were good, some not.
Review:
wonderful staff, wonderful service
Pros: wonderful staff, wonderful service
Cons: the walk from ship to buses for tours was especially long for me. I would have liked to have a shuttle bus provided.
Review: This is my first experience with Oceania... overall I would highly recommend your company for the wonderful staff and service. However because of my experience with the long distance walks and lack of accommodation for seniors...I am not sure of repeat business.
Food is spectacular
Pros: Food is spectacular
Cons: Nightlife needs work
Review: Alicante was a beach day for us. We chose an excursion 1 1/2 hrs away and we could have stayed near port (Walked there)at a public beach. Almeria was a pleasant stop. Gibraltar was great. Definitely worth seeing the top of the Rock and St Michaels cave and Siege tunnels. Casablanca is an armpit!! Don't know why we stopped there. Lots of things closed due to Ramadan. Very dirty city. So dirty when we returned to the ship they had mats drenched with sanitizer to clean our shoes as we walked to board and hand sanitizer st hat they insisted we use before boarding. Glad they were being safe, but why even stop there then. Loved Seville. We did a day on our own there. Very easy city to get around. Great day. Would go there again. Lisbon was a fun city too. People were friendly lots to see and do there. We enjoyed the social life due to the euafa 2016 cup Portugal vs France. It was a massive celebration and fun to be a part of. I recommend this ship if you're a foodie and have done your research on ports. If your looking for night life this is not the cruiseline for you. Also there are speciality restaurants on board. Book them early before you go. They book up fast and are worth it. There is a cooking school that I have attended classes. Very fun. Also the La Reserve wine pairing dinners are fantastic and very fun.
The food was great, the staff was very warm and friendly, the room was great.
Pros: The food was great, the staff was very warm and friendly, the room was great.
Cons: I really can not think of anything bad to say.
Review: We had the most amazing time and met the greatest people from all parts of the world. The food was excellent and the dining experiences was the best. The excursions were the best you that we have ever experienced.
Stabilization of vessel and ports of call.
Pros: Stabilization of vessel and ports of call.
Cons: Service
Review: Poor staff service across the board; excessive anchoring and tendering ; disorganized; language difficulty; rather stingy with products eg one tote bag per room; destructive laundry service; etc.
Staff was outstanding, accomodations were better than expected and food was generally above average.
Pros: Staff was outstanding, accomodations were better than expected and food was generally above average.
Cons: Two cruise line sponsored shore tours were below average and Polo restaurant was poor.
Review: This was my first cruise. In general, my expectations were exceeded and I would recommend Oceania Cruises to others.
Beautiful ship. So many places to relax. The ship never feels crowded.
Pros: Beautiful ship. So many places to relax. The ship never feels crowded.
Cons: The shore excursions are extremely overpriced and disappointing.
Review: Wonderful, professional quality entertainment. The productions were the best we ever saw on a cruise. Superb staff. Each one was 5 star. Great food. The veranda stateroom had excellent closet space but tiny, useless drawers. Don't overpack! Otherwise I love this ship. The Marina too. The port of Zadar in Croatia should be replaced by Dubrovnik. More tours with only one to two hours of walking would be appreciated. Three stars for value because when cost of excursions, wine, Internet, spa, culinary class, and gratituities are added, the total is the same as Crystal and Regent. That being said, The Riveria or Marina are first in my heart.
Extraordinary food.....quality and quantity
Pros: Extraordinary food.....quality and quantity
Cons: Dismal to depressing ports of call
Review:
Great Service, Amazing Food, Not Crowded, Very Nice Room, Great Itinerary!

Review: We booked this cruise for our 25th wedding anniversary. It was the perfect getaway for our special occasion. The ship was absolutely beautiful and the specialty restaurants were great!!! This was a trip of a lifetime we will never forget!!!
Very nice room and food
Pros: Very nice room and food
Cons: None
Review: Trips on shore need improvement. Lots of time doing nothing.
Culinary excursions with Chef Kelly were amazing experiences! Our Penthouse suite butler was so attentive that the cruise wouldn't have been the same without him.
Pros: Culinary excursions with Chef Kelly were amazing experiences! Our Penthouse suite butler was so attentive that the cruise wouldn't have been the same without him.
Cons: Argostoli, Cephalonia is a lousy port. They need to find a better stop than that.
Review: Toscana dining room has good food, lousy service. It is severely understaffed. We had an 8 PM reservation and didn't get bread and water till 8:50 PM. After we ordered wine, took wine steward 25 minutes to come back and tell us he was out of that vintage (with 5 days to go on the cruise!). Got wine at 9:15 PM. Sent my Osso Buco back cause it was too dry (after warning them when I ordered it). Disembarkation was amazingly orderly and prompt. We were at the Venice airport 35 minutes after leaving the ship! Worst port of call was Argostoli (Greek Island) boring--they need to replace it. Butler service for our Penthouse suite was extraordinary! Cruise more enjoyable and informative because of butler. Entertainment on ship was mediocre, bordering on amateurish. Chef Kelly and culinary staff are amazing! Recommend their excursions in Taromina, Sicily and Koper, Slovenia.

Review: Overall, Oceania's commitment to excellence hits the mark. Get ready to relax and see some of the most amazingly beautiful islands in the world.
Excellent ship, staff, etc. In general lives up to Oceania standard we've experienced before.
Pros: Excellent ship, staff, etc. In general lives up to Oceania standard we've experienced before.
Cons: Some food superb, but here and there it's not. Also, 9:45pm showtime was too late for us.
Review: We wrote in Oceania's evaluation form, that we'd had a disappointing meal in the Polo Grill--steak, fish, and salad very below par. But had a splendid meal in Red Ginger. Did not get to eat in the other 2 restaurants because of time problem one night and illness another.
